Grissom is such a kind soul. I know he’s just a character but William Petersen plays him with such grace gentleness. He’s like the strange mentor everyone wishes they had.
I'm not fluent in ASL, but I did take a few classes in school. I can't translate all of Betty's signs, but after Grissom says, "When I get back, the three of us will go out to dinner." Betty's signs roughly translate as: "I think you two need to be together more. Sex is important in a marriage!"
The final scene was perfect and sweet. Grissom Oh I miss you too. CSI is not the same since he left. Grissom was the heart and soul of the series. It was and will be a unique character.
LOL Grissom: And What did you do? Sara: Well, erm... I almost got blown up twice, I accused your ex-girlfriend of murder, and erm... I told off your mother! Grissom: Ah, Good, you kept busy then! Sara: See what happens when you stand me up! LOL
Grissom you were, are and will be CSI, the show ain't the same without you, these two minutes were the best of season 11 and I'm sure the most watched. Please come back we miss you !!!!!!
Awww jeez! Grissom looks so happy. I'm only a recent fan of CSI but I'm in over head an ears with these two. I've never seen a show less character focussed- character development happens in such small bites every episode that if you blink you'll miss it and you have to get to know them through the investigations. I just love how. . . normal their relationship is I guess. And Grissom is a gorgeous in a 'He grew on me' kind of way as opposed to Wow1 Totally hot older guy.

although lawrence fishburne is good i think the problem is that william peterson (gil grissom) made the show. he was the main leader of it. this is the case witha lot of things when something starts of and the main charictor is replaced you find its never as good. its still good just gil grissom made the series what it was

Grissom's mother clearly passed away years ago or is ancient at this point like 85, she is only 9 years older than Grissom here, she's 67 and he is 58 lol.
The original CSI cast was the absolute best! we need Grissom to come back, and somehow find a way to find out that Warrick Brown is still alive somewhere, and Bring back Cat Willows too, this show would rock once more!
THUMBS UP HERE TABITHA!! I LOVE this episode. The whole season has been great, even better then last, but this is by far the best of the season. Betty cracked me up talking about their sex life. Probably trying to sudtly hint she wants a grandbaby before she dies lol. They have to bring her back when Grissom shows up so they can go to dinner :)
I really wish that I could have happened but the actress who portrayed her passed away the following year her name was Phyllis French by the way she was the actress who did children of a Lesser God on Broadway in that same episode Marlee Matlin would win the Oscar for that same role on film..

I was so shocked she passed away a year after she appeared in the series! What a marvelous actress and just perfect to play Gil's mom..sad that we couldn't see her interact on screen with her on screen son.

And Sara was so bad at sign language. While Sara and Grissom was video talking, Grissom's mom came to the lab said sorry to Sara and gave her a plant. I know more but I don't want to spoil it for you

I loved that kiss at the end when he meets her in the junge and he just goes towards her holding his arms out. They wanted to tell that audience that Grissom would not come back as a regular because the actor moved on. However he would come back as a guest for the movie which was the series finale.
Is Grissom married to either Sarah sidle or that other woman who daughter was killed? I declare he be attracting these women weirdos who be drinking blood or stuff..or ones that can't make up they minds about him..well..grissom..Sarah needs to put her pride aside and run into your gentle waiting arms.
