@@norh322 I am just saying that Singer was once a great company, that made everything they sold to the best quality possible, old metal Singer machines are so well made. but through a series a series of sales of the company all assets of the company were sold off so nothing was left except the name, singer is the low end for the company that owns Pfaff, Viking and Singer and for low end machines Brother makes better machines. Just my opinion.

Also norh322, Brother even the lowest priced embroidery machines are so much better than Singer, Brother embroidery machines are easy to use and mostly trouble free.
