When I was in Sutton two days ago I could not find a taxi any where not even outside the train station

That sounds rather disappointing. I was considering moving to Sutton. Bad idea?

Why? I was considering moving to Sutton (potentially buy as I just can't afford London). Is it a bad idea?

@@AruSearch Sutton has become nothing except high rise flats.
All the "businesses" she talks about are dodgy phone shops and cafes.
All the major shops have left and shoppers go to Epsom, Kingston or Croydon.
The high rise flats have increased the traffic, increased the doctors waiting times, increased the crime rate and increased the pressure on public transport.
The council has ran Sutton to the ground. It was good when I moved there years ago, but then during lockdown things just turned horrendous with shootings and stabbings and the traffic jams meant pollution was too much. That's when I moved out.
I'm in Banstead now, which is only a few miles away, but it's a world away from Sutton in terms of crime, pollution and the people are really friendly.

@@LondonCanary1902 Thanks that's helpful. So is Croydon better than Sutton?
