This is my original demo of the song, engineered by Ryan Green at EMI on Sunset. I was an EMI writer at the time and Ryan was their in-house engineer. That fortuitous meeting lead to Ryan producing many significant records including Punk In Drublic and many more.
+Brett Gurewitz Mr. Brett, did you ever sing a demo of Generator? I remember hearing that somewhere with some lyrics that were different than the studio version, but I don't see it anymore.
There is one of Generator that's floating around. If I remember correctly, the lyrics included "like turbines in silence" and "like a hummingbird in darkness", and just the simple act of jumbling that for the final version was fucking brilliant.
Actually, I'm pretty sure this is the preproduction demo recorded by Mr. Ryan Greene. This is the recording that inspired Brett to have Ryan Greene record Punk in Drublic and went on to record countless punk records.
Why bring this discussion to one of my videos, instead of the video where the discussion should be held? Anyway, I do know what I'm talking about. I started listening to In Flames about 5-6 years ago, I still do occassionally. I'm just saying what's true.
You need to watch your mouth about Inflames especially when you don't know what your talking about, Mr. i scratch the suface and suddnely know all there is...Btw, Peace Love and Understanding goes along way...so does tolerence. Hope your having an irie day.....Blesssings be yours!!

así la canta Gregg en vivo
It has sort of a pissed off, grungy tone to it, I think.

No doubt about it. But Mr. Brett wrote the best Bad religion songs.
