3.25 Molten Strike of the Zenith Trickster is going to melt uber bosses

Hey guys I just wanted to share a build that I will most likely be using to take down uber bosses this league. I used this build last league to delete all the uber bosses in seconds and I think it will be even stronger this league. Drop a like if you found this video helpful, it helps me out a ton. Ok so after some discussion I realize I was not calculating the damage numbers correctly. That being said, molten strike of the zenith is still going to be an insanely strong skill this league and that’s all I was trying to convey in the video anyways.

Feels like the conner str-stacking jugg can do everything this build can do but can scale to be the strongest multimirror character you can build in the game without respec
Unless you can do a t17 on a 10-20div character, it's probably weaker on the low end too

Your PoB dps is missleading. You gotta add "76% less damage" to account for the fact that extra balls and more damage only occure every 5th hit. I mean: That's still like 30mio damage, which should be enough for all content. Dunno if you adress this in your video, but I'd really add the line in PoB.

i wonder.
1. uber boss has 42 kk health.
2. uber boss has 70% damage reduction -> 140kk EHP
3. uber boss has 90% exponentially decaying damage reduction at start.
4. boss spawned in at 2:04 , was dead at 2:09 = 5 sec kill.
PS i used Ai to calculate. (perplexity)
EDIT: i tried correcting the calculation (i think he used CURRENT damage reduction (that was 50k dps for a kill in 5 seconds AT 5 seconds) and forgot about considering the damage reduction in previous seconds) and it seems you would need 311kk dps to kill him in 5 seconds which would reflect the DPS in POB pretty well actually.

@@kliersheed I can't find the health for uber exarch, but let's go with your 42kk. BoP already accounts for the natural 70% damage reduction of uber bosses if you select those as a target. So if the build actually dealt 118kk uber boss dps (which PoB shows without the 76%less line), exarch would've had to die in like 0.5-1 seconds. If I add the 76%less damage, I get 28kk uber boss dps. Accounting for some additional damage reduction at the start of the fight, 4 seconds don't seem to unreasonable for that fight at 28kk uber dps.

Preciate the video on this, the buff to the gem itself is a huge plus. The downside here… your showcasing and including a POB with using mageblood and ashes let alone all of your other gear. Sure you can work towards getting those items but as a league starter probably not a great recommendation.

As a Splitting Steel / Trickster shill this looks quite nicely. If not going some sort of Traps starter I guess Splitting Steel or Frost Blades will work best.
Wonder how the normal Molten Strike might do, on the Splitting Steel concept, with the bump in added dmg effectivity.
Have you done anything else, other than uber bosses, with the end version for your testing?

@@rragnus yea molten strike of the zenith doesn’t feel super good for mapping so I swapped some things around last league and ended using frost blades to clear maps. It worked out pretty well actually.

You are baiting people with this damage? 16 hits with molten strike? You are not even simulating zenith proc. Add 75% less damage and now you have real dps.

Did you check the POB? Mageblood, Adorned, Nimis, Ashes. Or stacking of some kind

@@profeturulz8373 yeah i did. in fact, if you go in the pob and remove each of those items, it still shows he's doing 72 million dps without any of them. so what i'm asking is where is all of that damage coming from

You get added lightning damage on your weapon based on how much energy shield you sacrifice with energy blade. It’s that combined with the fact that the 5th hit from zenith does insane amounts of extra damage.

I wouldn’t recommend it. It requires a lot of pretty specific gear and the map clear isn’t that great. I leveled as frost blades and then respec’d once I had the gear

@@ZerkSees 80-90% of ur damage will be that 5. hit , 800%MORE damage and +5 proj.
so showing 200mil dps with that 5. hit and than saying "yeah its a 200 mil dps" build is missleading as i said.
i just looked it up the normal one does 8.5mil and the 5. does like 120
so 4 normal hits is like 34mil so the real dps is waaaaaaaay less then what ur advertising.
1-4 = 34 // and the 5. 120 = 154 with 5 hits so the real dps is like 30mil.
most ppl on youtube advertise fake dps in thier builds, i hate it nothing against you.

@@lolleonlolable The numbers of magma balls hitting is probably set too low though. ~40 million uber dps will be likely correct. Keep in mind this is the equivalent to 145million Guardian/Pinnacle Boss dps.

not sure how many balls would hit and also double hit with nimis exactly, prolly depends on the boss hitbox and stuff like that. the point is ppl that dont know how pob works or dont know that much about poe will be tricked into thinking this does 2-3times more dps than it actually is, as i said lots of youtubers do this some on accident some on purpose.
also he said "i set it to only 8 balls its prolly more like 10-15" or something" so i think this was more an accident than trying to make it look bette than it is ; )
