Joyce, you and Peter put a lot of love into the delicious chickpea meal, It look so mouth watering!!! The Biggest treat was Jimmy, and Phoebe with her beautiful self. it's always a treat to see them, Jimmy is so sweet, he let us know that he is learning, so smart. Very Yummy video. We love you Guys, bye bye Jimmy and Phoebe.
1:00:15 , Amen! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 for sweet Jimmy. The food looks delicious. We Ethiopians eat alot of chickpeas sauce called Shiro, a very popular stew in Ethiopia made from dried ground chickpeas, onions, tumirec, garlic, ginger eaten on injera, flat fermented bread. It is rich in protein. Most of time cooked with Ethiopian Berbere spice, made from grounds sweet paprika, ground coriander, ground ginger, cardamon , nutmeg, allspice, black pepper and ground cloves. The wall is looking great and the outdoor dinning, open air looks extremely delightful and marvelous.
The food looks delicious Joyce! You can also thicken the gravy by mashing some of the chic peas too as an alternative to the potatoes. 😊 When we make red beans with rice, some of the red beans are mashed near the end of the cooking process for to make the gravy thicker. Thanks for sharing the mashed potato tip too ! Greetings from New York, USA! 👋🏽🇺🇸❤️
Joyce , have become a master chef the chick pea dish looked scrumptious I could smell and taste it all the way to the ATL. And let Peter know to give himself a pat on the back his Garden looks Amazing, people in Kenya 🇰🇪 will be coming from near and far to say eyes on it and ask what is his secret #1 Chef 🥇and #1 Gardener🥇❤❤❤❤❤🫂 🇺🇸
I love chickpeas ❤. We also call them garbanzo beans. I love to saute them and pour it over white rice. I also love to cook it in the rice with the diced ham and also make garbanzo and ham soup. I love making hummus with it too. As a snack you can season them then bake them till they are crispy. They are just so versatile and delicious. I love the way you cook. Love watching you cook all the time. Everything looks so yummy.
Hello Joyce and Peter, I am so excited to see you preparing chickpeas today because they are so versatile and very delicious. I have a recipe for Chickpea Salad that I make often and it’s very good. You should try it one day if you like and have the time. I would love to know your opinion. By the way Joyce, your hair is looking very beautiful. It’s growing so fast. Can you do an updated video on the products you use for your beautiful hair? Thank you 🙏🏾!!!
Hey Joyce & Peter!!! I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee your garden! I love you guys, you are an amazing couple ❤ I hope many will learn, family that pray and work together can achieve almost everything they desire. To summarise, united for a good cause 😊 God bless you 🙏
Hello family. I love to eat chickpeas, roasted. I roast them in the oven and salt them. They make a great snack. I cut pumpkins in chunks and bake the pieces in the oven. Then, I can easily scoop out the pumpkin off of the shell. It is very easy then.
Hey, Joyce and family. Healthy meal!!!❤ A little tip I learned in culinary school many years ago: wet a paper towel or cloth and put it under your cutting board. Then you can cut and chop all day and it won’t move.😂 I get scared that you might cut yourself with that board moving around! Love you guys!
Looks like an amazing dish! We eat chickpeas a lot in my family! So I almost know what you are tasting ! But the avocados for me ahhhhh I just love ❤. Also. In English We pronounce broccoli not bloccori. 😊 good job chef Joyce ! Nakupenda ! ❤

No wonder why you guys skin looks so beautiful because all you guys eat is healthy natural and organic food. May God continue to bless your family and your home❤🙏🏾
Yummy. I love pulses. All beans and peas. Its interesting that in the Bible Genesis 1:29,30 Jehovah God gave man and beast vegetables to eat. Meat was not part of our diet until after the flood of Noahs day. ❤
In my area (Central Uganda in Buganda) we don't peel the pumpkin when raw. We cut it up in several wedges, wrap it up in banana leaves and steam it with other foods also wrapped in banana leaves. The skin is removed before serving the pumpkin.
Hello family your food looks so delicious Joyce and how long have you been eating comfry it sounds like its dangerous to eat much love and many blessings.
You ask if we cook while we prepare or prepare all the ingredients before we cook. For a dish like this that includes dried beans, I get the beans cooking because they take longer to get done and I add the ingredients as I get them prepared.
Hi Joyce, Peter and family. Also hi Phoebe and Jimmy. The food looks delicious. I would love to have me an avocado tree. I love them. Can eat them everyday. BLESSINGS...❤❤❤❤❤
😢Joyce, please advise Peter to use a bigger knife to cut the pumpkin which is easier to manage if its cut in half first and also to cut away from your body for safety sake. Also a vegetable peeler can be used to get the skin off the pumpkin easier and quicker than a knife than a knife in a downward motion once the pumpkin half is placed firmly on a towel. Try it
Hi family Yes you can eat those pumpkin seeds they are roasted and sold in grocery stores also the sunflower seeds are roasted and sold in stores you break the outer part of the seed eat inside which is seed that's very nutrition

I've read that adding a little black pepper to turmeric enhances the turmeric's health benefits. (I'm not a nutritionist nor professional chef.)
