Hi guys. In this video I'm making leather backpack. In this video tutorial I will show you how to make classic leather baseball from my patterns. Patterns/Templates are available in 3 sizes.
In this video I'm making leather baseball cap.
I made this cap from 2.4mm/5.5 oz leather , peak from 4mm/10 oz and straps from 1mm/2.5 oz
Size S 51-54 cm / 20'' - 21.2''
Size M 54- 56.5 cm / 21.2''- 22.2''
Size L 57 - 61 cm / 22.4 - 24''
I used to Dye Fiebing's Professional Light Brown and Black colour.

Could you share how you blended the black into the brown? It’s very gradual and when I have tried it comes out very sharp.

I can’t tell which size hat piece goes next to which. I can’t find instructions for that in the instructions. It would be nice if the pieces were numbered. Do the biggest pieces go in the front and the smaller ones on the sides next to the back pieces?

On the front panels are stitching holes for the peak. This is very simple.

Awesome pattern!!!! The answer to your question is yes. The two fat triangle pieces, which have holes at bottom for stitching the brim, go in front. The two narrow triangle pieces go over the ears. But each of those have one hole on bottom, towards the front, for attaching the brim. When attaching the brim, I sewed brim to the outside of the hat, instead of the inside, because I used 4mm thick leather for brim, and didn't want that hard edge against my skin.

You can make this cap in approx.6-8 hours but I spend almost two weeks time to make patterns in three sizes, video ect.
