I’ve been waiting for this! I’m 3 months PP and I can tell you the tears eventually stop lol that first month is a blur and adjusting to new mom/parent life can be so challenging. But just wait for the intentional smiles and coos and when he really starts to recognize you as mama ❤ it’s the best. Congratulations!

Love this so much. Motherhood is the greatest gift, but everything comes with a price. It’s okay to grieve even though you feel so abundantly thankful & incandescently happy. I’m 10 months out & look back on those early weeks with so much empathy & pride for myself. Be gentle with yourself & be gentle with your baby 🤍 Soak up every moment - the good & the hard.

Hi Rachel, I’m also a new mom to a four month old and can relate in all ways especially when your husband goes to work. It will get so much better once you and your baby will be able to step out and enjoy the weather or outside activities. He’s precious. Congratulations!

Aw I got induced at 37 weeks too. 6 months ago. Had to get an emergency C at seven hours after the epidurals sadly and stayed a week at the hospital. So glad you and I had healthy boys!
