Double Dragon 2 was definitely a favorite...3 for me was too difficult back then, the AI was too competitive. Battletoads Double Dragon was also my favorite game back then because of the vivid pixel art and the movements

Double Dragon III I just beat once with cheats and didn't think of it much, until AVGN. I'm completely alien to what happened to the series after that, so here I am.
Also double dragon advance was one of the best double dragon games from the franchise i believe! One of the best ports with extra stuff combined game characters & environments from the two first classics on one of the sweetest bundles ever created!
I am old schooler. I love the dda. It is old school with dd1 and 2 plus extra like runs and extra moveset.... but seem ppl like dd5 better for some reason......

Double Dragon for Sega and Double Dragon 2 for Nintendo was the best games... They should make a new Double Dragon for X-Box or PlayStation.. ..being that historically they bounced from Sega to Nintendo Right on ;)

Would an updated 4K 2D look work like it did with the latest Mega man? Bring the old style back with a fresh new coat of paint. Would it be open world?
If I could, I would have a hand in making a Double Dragon reboot. • I wouldn't use 2D graphics because of already good remakes like the GBA and Mobile versions. • The story would be feature-length and faithful to the original with the same origin story as the Japan release. • The gameplay of the Double Dragon reboot would basically play like SIFU, but with cooperative/competitive multiplayer action. • I'd release it for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Arcade. • I would make sequels, except I would forget the original Double Dragon 3, 5, and 6.1 ever happened.

This game tought me how to fight ,never let me down as played it from 10 years old remember the first time I used the hair pull knee to face fucked the lad right up and he was supposed to be a karate expert lol ,and people say video games don't influence us lol I'm 42 now and I don't fight anymore but if I had to , just play double dragon the moves all there , the headbutt was also a favourite of my mine ,never used the elbow though ,my favourite game as a kid 👍👍👍

Double Dragon III The Rosetta Stones by far the best, especially in the Nes version, I never liked the fact that in the Sega version you went into a "business" and you should hire others to help you as if you "bought them" "On the other hand, in the Nes version, the two bosses that had the stones then joined you, had different fighting styles, in addition to the special movements, the weapons, it's the perfect game, I love it.

Double Dragon needs a reboot. Can you imagine how good the game would look if remade? I like the Xbox 360 and ps3 version but it was a little slow. The game needs a 4 player option imo.
Someone needs to fix that thumbnail. The most recent _Double Dragon_ game is _Double Dragon IV_ from 2017, but for "evolution" comparison, the last "real" game was _Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons_ from 2013.

The only problems we have with Super Double Dragon: 1. The GBA version of Double Dragon has a better cast of characters. 2. There is no plot and there are no cutscenes. 3. Billy and Jimmy's Hokuto no Ken-like signature moves from the NES port of Double Dragon II: The Revenge such as the *Ten Satsu Ryūji Ken* (Heavenly Killing Dragon King Punch) and the *Bakuma Ryūjin Kyaku* (Demon Exploding Dragon God Kick) were both replaced by some generic knockdown-punch and some generic knockdown-kick as power moves. But the iconic spinning *Ryūbi Ranbū Kyaku* (Dragon Tail's Storm Wind Kick) made it into the game. I'd give the game a 7/10.
I like to eat at the double dragon Chinese food place in downtown. They even have signed pictures of Spike and hammer on the wall. Just don't go out the door on the side. Takes you into the alley and they will show you what the double dragon club is all about, the hard way.
So no one gone talk about how in these games they don't even change into their costumes with their masks on n use their swords... and where is shadow master?

You're right. The clips the video show of Double Dragon 3 are of the NES version. Double Dragon 3 : The Rosetta Stone is the arcade version.
