Wow, never seen a crushing defeat such as this. The papal army failed to help the HRE, and England being a bit slow to react was crushed in a short while. The Christian side failed to coordinate.
I LOVE watching battles like this. Plain map, strategic battles, good variety of units and of course your awesome commentating 😀We need more of this!! Like if you agree lol jk
I was My leg! thanks for uploading my replay. The papal states player was the host and he quit out once his army chain routed. It was over by that point anyway.
Odd the replay ended like that. The host didn't leave the game from my recollection, maybe just a corrupt save? Oh well. Fun video Apollo, thank you as always
I am guessing this was a high money, high period, no rules battle. With those rules, Eastern factions are a lot better. Their roster in high period is a lot more varied. Some textbook tactics and some interesting unit choices :P
Not all the time but I was confident that the Eastern team would have the better unit roster. Not wanting to spoil anything for the other people that are waiting to watch this so I cannot fully comment until enough people have still seen it, still a very good game.
HRE did a good job with what he had, but I assume the crusader armies had a falling out the night before the battle considering they didn't back each other up on the field. Good fight, but I did notice that the advisor wasn't muted. Thankfully the battle was so one-sided I already knew who was going to win by the time he said anything.
Awesome Battle :D OK so the Afghan Javs have better defence and roughly the same sword attack as the Almughavars, but the afghans havs have a missile attack of 10 while the Almughavars have a missile attack of 13... so personally I prefer the Almughavars but then thats more of personal preference :P
Ohh...poor england....that was just devastating... I think the biggest problem was the reaction. He was little but to slow, otherwise he might have win at least killed a lot if the enemy troops and the holy Roman empire might have won with the help if the papal states...but the eastern factions are a little but the op...that's why I love ylthem
silentkiller2mm The Christian factions picked really bad units. Honestly christian factions are op, the units the players picked out for European side were awful.
Wolfgang 9BAR They are OP, or at least vastly superior or matched to the best eastern troops AND people play with rules hindering eastern or skirmish style factions. People dont wanna lose, and sacrifice variety for it :/

WHats ironic is I beat a 3 guys with one ally as turks.I won it mostly because someone sent their gothic knight general into not on adventuros but a naffatun unit!The general got roasted and stabbed at the same time!
Spearmen are good but only in shieltron than they hold their own they are not winning you a battle but delaying 2 fedual knight's can save your day plus in shieldtron you can't outflank them
You dont have to be Muslim to find Islamic history interesting. I love the Moorish and Turkish history but never in my life have i taught of becoming Muslim because of that. I like pork, beer and weed so i woudnt be a good Muslim anyway.
You could tell the Turks were the ones who sent in the battle replay because you could see their hidden Hashashin while you couldn't see the Moors

***** Almughavars also carry a spear, so they are better against cav in melee and have better morale.
Yeah, 9 I think, same as Feudals, but they do cost a lot more

Fun battle. HRE never seems to do well in your videos, unfortunately. They are probably my favorite faction and I think they are quite solid.
