Honestly mad respect to Sophist for still turning up for all these games I don't think there's a single game where he hasn't just been screwed over for no reason
It might be a sad form if karma for Sophist because for the longest time his gimmick has been to never win, but to sabotage the player he feels like would be the most entertaining to bully at the time. Once he started accumulating a bunch of losses I think he started to realize he actually wants to win more than troll, but by this point he is paying his dues in misfortune spreading.
The hilarious thing is that he will still on a whim screw someone over if it means getting a laugh, so it seems he's destined to pay into his hubris forever.
His luck is worse than almost anyone I've ever met. He's not even a bad player, either- it just happens like this all the time lol
Okay, but to be fair, there are also times where he’s pulled through with some of the dumbest victories, and there was that time he was wrecking everyone in Mario Party 6.

The Pink hoodie game show was one of the best moments on a stream. It took so long and the aftermath was some of the funniest material from these four. Watching from Nick's perspective was great. One of the best games they've played. The crane game still plays in my head.

Nick and Sophist suck at rotating so there wasn't anything he could do to win even with the Perfect Rotation.
What's hilarious is that the 3v1 stalled for a bit and they didn't lose instantly which means Vern was the only thing keeping his team from instantly losing.

I have never seen Vern win in Snow Whirled for example.

I remember when I played on this board with my dad. What’s funny is that he thinks getting a mushroom space and the little mountain guys keeping you from getting a shortcut require skill in order to past them, which is how it should be. But it for some reason, it’s RNG. Old Mario Party is hard lmao
Mario Party 1 and Superstars feel like polar opposites in terms of board play. With 1, you have no control and just have to deal with whatever you roll. With SS, you have way too much control, and too easy access to board manipulating items.
The fellas playing on a brutal board is like Brent deciding whether to down smash as K. Rool.
They always DO IT AGAIN.
Every time Brent does these new tech for every Mario Party games, my brain and skill level gets bigger after learn these ancient techniques.

19:02 Here's my thought the reason Brent loss in Mushroom Mix-Up.
I believe he was standing between two or three platform (yellow, red, black). There was a collision with the yellow platform and he may have been standing on the edge of the yellow platform while he was in the ground pound position. When the platform went down while in his ground pound position was done, he was either standing on black platform when he standing up position or the yellow platform tiptoe scale him off.
I would've stay on the same platform and kept doing the ground pound since Mushroom Mix-up is exploitable.
16:44 TCNick3 never chose green, but on Simon Says 2 from Sophist video, he chose green that one time, and then chose green back in King of Skill first Mario Party Superstars video, so, "are you sure about that?"
I can only imagine how chaotic Eternal Star is going to be just from seeing this. Killing it like always Brent 👍

I think what I find funniest is that, from the looks of things, the gameshow literally didn't matter. The game would've been closer, yes, but Brent would've still had 3 stars while Vern would've had 2. With less coins than Nick, as well. The standings wouldn't have changed.
