@@rosstrittleryou didn’t include a hose for the Venturi, is that not required? 55 psi seems pretty low what tune are you running? Also, how solid is that bmp fitting? I tried it but it rocks side to side I wasn’t too confident in it. You put the bottom below the last barb on the fuel pump right?
Hey so I kinda messed up and cut the female side off the walbro pump. What is the downside pushing the red/black wires and going straight to the stock (orange) wires ?
@@rosstrittler Have you had any issues with the stock fuel lines after this upgrade? i was thinking if theyd be too restrictive/not last from higher pressure
Im having a issue where at cruising speeds my pressure sits at 23PSI. At WOT my second pump kicks in at 15psi and the pressure goes up 70-90. My tuner was telling me to add a fuel inline check valve but im running stock fuel lines and don’t know where i would connect it to, if anyones has an idea on how to connect a check valve to it please reply to this :( Also im running a walbro 450 and a 535 ethanol pump. Im on full E85

Easily one of the most underrated and important videos on TH-cam. 😤 Thank you man! Subbed.
Appreciate it! Thanks for the sub.

Glad you got it all sorted! Swapping out that fuel pump is quite the process!
It's definitely a must-have for these cars
isnt there a already completed pump one can buy?
Yes, but this is much cheaper and not much more difficult to install.
Did you get rid of the venturi setup as well? If so, how do you keep the bucket full of fuel?
I'm running the factory setup just with the upgraded fuel pump. It works flawlessly.

I would just solder or crimp the wires together and just completely remove the connector altogether. Just make sure to use fuel-safe heat shrink.
This will be same for e92 2011 N55?
Yes, this will be the same exact parts and process for a E9x with the N55
Would it be easier to drill the holes first then unglue it?
It might
@@rosstrittler hows the pump doin bro?

Check your spark plug gap, too. That ended up being my issue for the engine breaking up at high rpm

You may need to make some custom fuel lines.
I read that you have to dremel the pump is your running fine with the bucketed system ?
Its running perfect. I don't know why some people are reverting to a bucketless system.
@@rosstrittler Thanky you! I’m planning on tackling it this weekend I’ll lyk how it runs.
