a reading week in my life 📖🌷 | slow living in the life of an ambivert | journaling, drawing, reading

During the first week of August, I absolutely let myself take it slow and easy. I had been running really fast, trying to adjust to the new life of college, and balancing my free time with my hobbies as well.
I was really behind on my reading and journaling journey, so I decided to dedicate two easy days to these few days. I am such a homebody, and I love staying at home, resting, and pouring into myself, but I am also a person who loves adventures! It's the ambivert within me, I guess.
I also have some advice for you if you're starting on your own reading journey. I've been reading for more than 4 years now, dedicatedly. I used to read a lot of story books, and easy novels as a child though, so all thanks to my family for imbibing this habit within me. However, as I've grown, I am leaning more towards novels that have complex characters, and a complex storyline. I am also leaning a lot towards classics these days.
But I am also open to reading any and all sorts of books!! So, please recommend me some books in the comment section below!

(2)Do you read poetry or have any fav poets?
I love poetry, my favourite being the Big Five of the Romantic Era (Wordsworth, Coleridge, Byron, Shelley, Keats).

@@gratitudewithgaurisha Wow... some of the poets you favour have given me a serious cause to pause and re-evaluate my poetic procleveties. I must confess, my partiality towards the Romantics (bordering on dogmatic) has been to my detriment, for it has left me scarcely aware of all the other poetical possibilities on offer. I shall endeavour to change that going forward in my long overdue bid to broaden my poetical horizons. Checking out the likes of Frost, Oliver, and Whitman shall be the first step in that journey.
