Damn you guys are brave for driving in Atlanta traffic. I get you're a group, but I've been to ATL plenty of times and the drivers there just don't seem to care. Glad you and the rest of the riders were safe.
Even back in the 80's when I was road racing there weren't many riders who could use the full potential of what their bike could do. Even though I was fast I was also one of them. Now with today's bike technology I doubt there's one rider in this entire group ride that can use the full potential of their bike. There's some serious high dollar stuff out there. Kind of like a first time golfers trying to use pro forged blade irons. You can hit them but, probably not as far as more forgiving clubs. Ride safe everyone.
I see it all the time in my city’s group. 3 last year. 1 so far this year road their last ride. I got very lucky my self once learned my lesson and will always respect the road. But trust when I say I could out ride most of those guys on my 600 on the track.
