@@waynehershey we have 200 cords of pulp that didn’t get out before road limits and it’s been too warm to do anything with it. Next week’s weather looks promising to get it moved out in small loads 😝🤣
Started cutting for a guy back in November on a state job to help him finish off the last month of work, took us until the start of February to finally move machinery off
Great Video as always! Had a pretty hard Winter aswell here in germany. Tons of rain, just a few days with cold weather and we had a really big Problem with floodings between christmas and New years.
South of ya a few hours, we got 2 weeks on a winter job and that was it. Moved back to a summer/fall sale until oak wilt restrictions hit. It worked out ok for us but less than ideal "summer/winter/spring" for sure
We can blame Willard for messing up the logging road decorations. He may not be the one but we can still blame him for it because its fun. And winter aint over yet. Its going to get cold again. Trust me its a trap.
Loved the video. Had to have been one of the wildest winters for logging that I can remember in my 23 years of doing it.
You and me both!

Know we know how ice road truckers felt .God bless yall real good..
I'm a fake logger, but my entire winter was condensed down to 3 weeks in January. Glad that couple day cold snap helped you out.
about the same here, usually its 3 months of winter
Do you log around Ashland
We've probably logged within 30ish miles of ashland
What part of Wisconsin were you working in .
We work mostly in Sawyer, Bayfield, Douglas, Washburn counties
Great video Wayne! We put in some night shifts to forward the wood we are cutting out to good ground too. Didn’t finish before the thaw… oh well lol
Thanks and what can you do i guess..
The way the last few winters have been, you have to keep your wood hauled out as you go.
