- The Little Girl Giant awakes, showers and gets dressed in Langley Park at 9.30am (Feb 13, 2015), then wandering through the streets of Perth. A Massive Thank You to organisers of Perth International Arts Festival, the City of Perth and all involved in making this event possible. What an amazing event to attend today for people of all ages. #giantsperth #perthfest #perthgiants #littlegirlgiant #perthcity #reuzen
They are always so respectful to their giants! Our giants!! It had to be a real honor to be chosen to bring smiles around the world!
This was a special time in Perth as the giants walked our streets
As the People of Perth grew to love and admire these giants special bonds were made which brought the whole city together

I live in Perth and I saw it today. The Little Girl and the Diver were together!!!
I was there too today. wasn't it amazing. Video footage not as good as previous days though (looking into the sun), but working on putting Day 3 video together shortly.

what a fantastic event that brought 1.5 million to the city. i can't think of another event that brought so many people to the city, and today we struggle to find a major event .
maybe it's time to bring them back.

This was an exciting time for Perth. I only got the chance to watch her leave from the narrows bridge till she was out of sight. Thanks for sharing these clips.

Thanks again for your videos much better thant all TV reports. You reallly have capture the essence of Royal de luxe (i am following them round the world since 15 years but Perth was too far/too expensive trip for me). My next appointement with the Giants will be the 19th,20th and 21st June 2015 in Antwerpen (Belgium).
Why would this amazing group stop doing this fantastic show? like why? my dream of childhood was to see the giants someday and now their company said they won't do this spectacle no more...😭😭
@Chellsie Libanan idk but maybe cause they're tired and this took too much force or sth... but i still hope they change their mind 😥 it's one of my biggest dreams til today

Her name is May McMarrey her father died from titanic and the mom died from illness may had an uncle who tried to find titanic but found a letter so the uncle tried to find may to report that her father was dead so uncle found may....this was a real story from 1912 they just reincarnated it into a giant

Most of the roads were closed in the CBD (Where this was) in Perth that weekend. So I'd suggest that it was props for the feel of it.

hahah that's awesome!! Thanks for sharing it with us, I only went for the 1st days pm show and the 2nd days morning show so I didn't get to see all the stuff they made the girl and diver giant do, like changing outfits, meeting each other at last etc. I uploaded my own video of the Girl Giant if anyone want's to see the 4pm show of her :)

Gurung Moon its not a festival but it’s a thing they do called giants and there is the the little girl(her) , the diver (her dad) and the grandmother(her grandmother)

the group who create the giants are royal de luxe, it's a french theatre group from Nantes and since 1993 they created a lot of shows about giants, they are amazing
This company who do The Giants were requested to arrive in Perth for the 2015 Perth International Arts Festival to commemorate 100 years of Anzac.
This was the Western Australia Arts Festival - it was to commemorate the Anzacs as it was the 100th anniversary. (Australian and New Zealand Army Corp)
