When you were showing the bedrooms I heard some type of dirt bike or atv wizz by in close proximity. Then you mentioned access to the trail system. If that's the case is it going to be common to hear that kind of noise going by?

Agree with some of the comments concerning the house itself--in Dover, UCLP I believe just sold 500 acres/no fields in Dover for around $500/acre; I would use that as a gauge and say this property has $200k in acreage built into this price leaving $239K for "value" of house. The house's rough shape and 1800 square feet size may be asking a bit too much. Maybe throw in a few antique plow trucks, farm equipment, and some other farm toys and might be a "wicked" good deal!
Nice property! You’re obviously buying this for just that. You would have to gut the home back to the studs and remodel the entire place. Way too outdated and misconfigured. I would factor that into the price. I’m also curious about the reminder of the property. From the overview, it looks like an extensive wooded area. Timber and/or hunting possibilities?
Taking it down to the studs is a little extreme but updating the bathroom, flooring, and paint would make a world of difference. I am not sure what you mean by misconfigured? The floor plan is pretty standard. It does have a nice wooded area and a great hunting area.

There's houses in my area that aren't even more than 2 beds ans a bathroom on BARELY .01 of an acre going for 600k.......AND with about 1 ½ times the yearly property tax....this house PLUS 106 ACRES !!!! A bargain !!!! Pretty sure whatever "game" waltz es through property is an added "bonus"...... I could live with the house some what "as is". I'd go maybe New roof 'n gutters, insulation throughout, new windows, solar panel deal, definitely tear out that "shag" crap. It'd be worth it. Hell !, no developers it definitely again be worth it. Cost less than the postage stamp property I've got now. Anyway....just thinking the nights, hot, cold, warm or cool, night skies must ........just damn beautiful !!!!

Cambridge is a nice little town. One store ?. 25 minutes to the mecca of Newport ! Dover Foxcroft is a nice town. The house looks more modern than I figured it would be. 1970/s? Rugs and paneling. Nice land. Dirt road off a dirt road. Could be a problem in the spring. I bought a male goat in Cambridge years ago. We just beat a snow storm on the way home. Its a nice area. I am not presently in the market for a house, but its good to look.
