5:45 , *Hey Justin ,as you are asking about like 'why there always like a story-movie rather than the singer himself singing the music video , actually brother ,it's kind of a thing here in India like in Asia , which is like running through generations , people like to see visuals in the music video which are related to the lyrics of the song and that's not like singers don't come in music videos , jubin has done some other music videos in which he has performed himself like ''dil galti kar betha hai song'' and many more in these songs jubin has performed himself and sometimes in music videos ,producers picks the famous ''television couples'' like famous couples in 'tv-serials'' to attract their audience towards the music video*
*that's bussiness and that's how it works mostly and really no one asks about it or have any problem with it because you know the singer himself doesn't have any problems*
Also there are multiple songs with Jubin himself present in them. A few would be "Meethi meethi"and "Dil galti kar baita hai"

Alright so South-Asian/Indian music has a very strong element of storytelling. Unlike a good chunk of western popular music, listeners of Indian music have great focus on what the song means. It's not necessarily because the video making generates business but also because the visual storytelling contributes to the impact of the song. It's also important to note that you too ate watching it on TH-cam- a visual medium. If you were listening to an audio, it would obviously be a solo, vocal focused experience. The visuals this are just an attempt to create an atmosphere that aids the song

Both SOUTH INDIAN and NORTH INDIAN songs are having thier own UNIQUE STYLES and EXCELLENT VOCALS...I'm sure you will enjoy south indian music too (languages: Malayalam,Tamil,Kannda, Telugu)

I know you are obsessed with jubin but you have not listened to many other great male vocalist of bollywood. Like Shan he is a gem you have not reacted tl him yet.
