    Great video. Had to figure out how to get to the hidden menu on a 2022 Insight (press home, audio back and volume/input knob in and hold) then I followed your video. A few audio setting tweaks later and it sounds 100% better. Thanks for the helpful video.

    Follow directions. It worked on my 2.0 Touring. I definitely noticed the extra mid bass. Adds a fullness the audio was missing. Wish I had discovered this 2 years ago, might of saved me 1000 on my subwoofer. Who am I kidding I like base. For those of you complaining about the audio do this before you upgrade your speakers. Thanks Boosted you never Cease to amaze. From one Honda owner to the next, much appreciated

      I have a 2.0 Touring. With Infinity speakers up front using the stock amp, and a 12” Alpine sub powered by an 800 watt mono sub amp. It’s definitely every bit as loud as before, and maybe even more. But definitely cleaner. Also, the lows seem to hit with more impact now.

    I was going to look for this, today but it popped up while looking at a lot of your videos. I was hoping this wouldn't still be a thing, and tried to enjoy the audio as is.
    The audio sounds better than the 2017 Civic EX-T I had. On that Civic we have what's called DSP FLAT and it was annoying to disable everytime, until did Honda hack and installed a script to disable DSP FLAT for better audio.

    I did my Accord a while ago and noticed zero improvement. But once I disconnected the ANC there was a noticeable improvement. The Active Noise Cancelling system sends a LOW frequency signal through the speakers to cancel out excessive cabin noise. In doing so it kills the low end (bass) response of the sound system. Crank the stereo with the vehicle in park and you'll hear how much better the system sounds. Once in motion the ANC kicks in and makes the system sound like garbage. Also, the ANC doesnt activate if a window is rolled down. I haven't noticed any difference since unplugging the ANC. It's a nice feature but at the expense of a decent sounding audio system it's just not worth it.

    • @MannyBrum
      @MannyBrum 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shaneh9591 @Rob M You have to take off some of the trim and pull out the glove box and then take out the ANC unit and disconnect it.

      " I haven't noticed any difference since unplugging the ANC. It's a nice feature but at the expense of a decent sounding audio system it's just not worth it" This statement does not make sense to me. Wow this is AWESOME, but a little sad for me =) Had I only known sooner, I could have saved some $$$. I had no idea we could get rid of the crappy factory preset which rolls off bass at 60Hz and has a nasty bump in the mid range. I'm upgrading my system and just bought a Kicker KeyLoc to flatten the factory signal by compensating for this preset hahaha. Honda put in the preset to compensate for the weakness of the stock speakers. If you hammer them with the PS turned off, they will probably blow pretty fast and Honda knows that. Great to know for anyone upgrading the stock system to better speakers, amp and sub though. Thanks for all your great videos!

      Not sure what screen is that. Try removing the battery terminal for a few minutes and then recalibrate all sensors by driving around. Also, check the description details on the step by step process. Chances are you went into the wrong menu.

    I have a 2020 Accord Touring 2.0T and these steps would not work for me. I do already have the Developer Options turned on, but any idea why this trick would not work for me?

      Probably not pressing the 3 buttons I mentioned. Please check description details.

    Added amp and subs to my 2022 Accord Sport, and the bass roll off pretty much renders the subs almost pointless. Can anyone confirm if disabling the PS cancels that roll off? The subs hit hard in my Fusion, but this brand new Honda they sound terrible.

    Thanks. Cool tips. But will it have side effects on a *Full aftermarket system Or aftermarket subwoofer only, incoming calls or out or voice commands ... ect?

      1. Press and hold Home + Power + Source at the same time for 6-8 seconds or until you hear a beep.
      2. Tap on the second menu called Detail Information & Setting.
      3. Press and hold Home button for 6-8 seconds or until you hear a beep.
