The one that don't listen to official lies they know the real Persian culture and love it. There are more American tourist to Iran in past few years than ever before. Much of this is modern and Western-influenced, particularly the symphonic pieces. It's good music, but not what I was expecting from the title, "Persian Classical Music Essentials".
Traditional Persian music influenced much of Hispanic music, it would’t surprise me if It had influenced the rest of the Mediterranean in a similar manner.

it's called tombak or tumbak.
it is also called Zarb which is its Arabic name
