BI led us to the playoffs twice
#EveryDayer Great video Jake! And that audio is back to pristine levels! Draft guy I am super high on is Bobi Klintman. Strikes me as a great all-around fit. Have heard comps of Cam Johnson or Christian Wood with defense. My ideal off season (assuming Mitchell is off the table) is trading Ingram for Jarrett Allen straight up, trading Dyson and 2 UFRPs for Anfernee Simons, bringing Naji back at ~$7 Million annually, and then drafting Klintman or Tristan da Silva at #21.
If you want to build around Trey Zion and Herb, just phrase it that way so it will be easier to make it happen. You can probably get Trae Young and KAT for BI, CJ and as many picks as it takes,
If your upset BI doesn’t chuck 3s, go balls to wall and get players who specialize in that field.
The advanced stats show BI played great with Zion and not CJ and CJ without Zion. He wasn’t the problem. Now Garland could be a lower tier all-star here but I still wouldn't trade BI for just him. It would need to be Garland AND Allen.
That's delusional, Allen would warrant a hefty return. BI, is a good player, but he's a flawed player with an expiring contract, albeit a very expensive one, Garland is under contract for a long time and is younger with more room to grow... thats a fair deal.
@jefferybriggette5565 It obviously isn't a fair trade or we would have pulled the trigger when they offered Allen for BI last season. They've been trying for years. Wings are valued in the NBA.....PGs and Cs not as much. BI actually fit with Zion, it was when CJ, Zion, and BI were on the court or just CJ and Zion that things didn't jive. Most of this "trade BI" talk is fluff to get clicks on the offseason and that's why this episode walked it back some. We won't be trading BI for just Garland or Allen. That's delusional. We would just keep BI if that's all that is offered.
@bboobb9001 BI wasn't on 1 year left. His value is lower because of that contract. With that said I'd onto think his value is as low as people may think
@@bboobb9001 They did not try to trade Allen for BI last season, that's hearsay. Pels been trying to get Allen for awhile now, not sure what the offers were. I keep a close eye on what the Cavs do or don't and that's the first time I've heard that.

Zero chance Cavs offered Allen for Ingram at the deadline for the simple fact that there’s no way they could afford to extend Mitchell, Mobley, AND Ingram while also keeping Garland

I love his game and he could be further developed to take Larry's spot in the rotation to back up Zion at the 4 spot. If he grows further height wise and put on a little more muscle/weight he can be your future Center.

Brandon Ingram has mental issues. He still talks and acts like an depressed, awkward, skinny teenager with a low passion for basketball. I think the Pelicans are finally realizing this from his actions in the last 2 years.
