No talking, no music. Your father would have been happy to hear the sounds of the workshop one more time. A wonderful tribute you have paid to your Dad.
Ronald McDonald's is a very deserving charity. Never knew anything about them until I spent a month in one of their houses. Now I support them with a yearly donation. Absolute lifesavers.
I LOVE How you made that for your dad! I cried like a baby when you put his things in the top for him. I think he would be VERY proud of what you did for him!
I blew dad away with a leaf blower. A cloud. He drifted away into the woods chased by his dog. Amazing performance all the way around. Your box project is amazing too.
I came across this video by chance. No music... No commentary. Just a man alone in his shop with his tools, his hands and his thoughts. The only video on this channel like it, (I checked) yet it says more than any other. Simply the most beautiful and thing I have seen in years! Just subscribed.
I lost my Dad way back in '79... Today 8/21 is his Birthday....... I've a tear just thinking about him and your loss.... I'm sure our Lord in Heaven is watching you make this beautiful Urn.............God Bless your father and my best to you too.
I knew watching this would be hard because it would remind me of my missing my own father. But when you got to the end and put his belongings in their I lost it. I'm sorry for your loss, your father would be very proud of what you made for him.
As sons we aspire to always seek the approval of our Dad. I can assure you he is smiling on the fact that you have taken the time and care to make him something with your hands. It’s clear he meant the world to you as a father that’s what we want to be to our kids. Big bro Hug to you my man. 🙏 Hoping yo start a shop in my garage soon!
A Great Memorial to your Father. May he Rest In Peace. Beautiful and Awesome - I am sure Your Dad Would Be Proud, but more so of the Great Respect That You Have Shown For Him.
What a wonderful thing to do with your skills. I love the idea of the preserving your dad’s things in the top compartment. Now generations of your family can see them. You are a good son. I just know your dad would be so proud. Thanks for sharing this.
A loving son showing love for his Dad all done in silence except the power tools that make this special. And I have a feeling you Dad is up there looking down and smiling saying Thank you for being my son.
Your dad must have been a special person, as evidenced by you and your life. I am moved beyound words, at your craft, and you love. I feel the same about my Dad. Thanks for sharing this special moment with all of us.
Beautiful work. I lost my father almost 40 years ago, and I still think of him every day. My experience is that the pain doesn't go away, but with time you learn to live with it.
A wonderful tribute to your dad and a fond remembrance of the times you spent together. I studied HVAC but the nitty gritty mechanical stuff is not taught in school. It all came from my dad. Thank you fathers everywhere. May those who have left us Rest In Peace.
Such a stunning piece of work. I started crying once you put the ashes in. I lost my dad back in June and we had him cremated. This makes me wish I had taken up woodworking with him when he was alive. While I wasn't able to do something like this, I created a shadowbox of all his things that hangs over his urn box. God, I miss him.
beautiful box , I made one out of some old redwood barn wood for my little brother, when my mom died buried him next to her. GOD bless you and your family.
This is a very loving tribute from a son to his father. Good man he is. I only wish I’d thought of this in preparation for My Dads passing. I had all of the tools and all of the skills. He must have been a good father and had taught these skills to his boy. God Bless your memories as well as all of our memories of our fathers. I miss my Dad every day. Thank you for this. Rest In Peace
What a moving video. Your Dad is proud of you and he'll always be with you in all your projects. Thank you so much for sharing that. I lost my Dad 3 years ago and there isn't a moment that goes by that I don't think of him.
Chris just found this very emotional memorial build. Your respect for your craftsmanship honors your Dad in a way that requires no talk as words would not do the respect your beautiful piece speaks. The attention to detail especially the compound miter moulding, choice of hinges, ⁰d the gorgeous wood. God Bless your Dad & your family.
I got tears in my eyes when the items were placed in the box. It reminded me of both my parents who died in a period of five months. The love seen in this project moves me deeply ...
I have my dads ashes in my workshop along with an end of life memory photograph of him hanging on my wall. This looks like a fitting and worthwhile project. Thank you so much for sharing. A dedicated resting place too.
The choice of wood and the workmanship is very fitting for a fine memorial box. I would only add gold leaf lettering on the front panel showing his name and the two dates. I like your design. My dad's body was donated for medical science research and when they were done, the doctor who knew him well, who was a member of that same research facility, took his asses and sprinkled them on the beach where my dad and mom used to enjoy so many walks together. I carry his memory with me all the time and we still enjoy the many pictures of him enjoying life and I like that more than I would a box or urn with his asses inside. But, you did a beautiful work and tribute with your lovely box. So tasteful and peaceful.
From the title and the thumbnail, I knew that this video would be a tear-jerker. It's been over 20 years since I lost my own dad to pancreatic cancer, and even now, I still miss him terribly. This was a very beautiful homage to your dad.
I made my fathers as well. It was done with Maple for his love of baseball and Purple Heart for Pancreatic Cancer awareness which is what took him from us. Probably the hardest thing I’ve ever built . Good work.
I love the grain pattern! Thank you for showing us this project, I know how hard building this must have been because the entire time your working on it you’re being constantly reminded.
I was good till the end. My father has been gone five years now and not a day goes by that I don't miss him. I inherited all of his tools so anytime i use them it always takes me back
Greetings from Spain. Man,i lost my father two years ago. You made this touching tribute with all your love. I felt any cut or polish you did. I don't imagine better place for your father's rest. You have all my respect. Sorry for your loss, may your beloved father rest in peace.

I am not crying.......... Very nice and very respectfully.
I made a wooden urn for my dad just a few months ago he died at 65 of brain cancer, what an incredibly talented person he was.
YOUR DAD IS WATCHING YOU ALL THE TIME. AND HE WILL BE WITH YOU FOR EVER BEAUTIFUL WORK.
Without a word being said, I could feel how you love your dad. What a beautiful Urn, and so meaningful. Great work!

A very thoughtful way of including your father's ashes in your environment in a personal way.
