I mean, to me this is basic. You should always have a home stash for mundane emergencies (blizzards, tornados, etc.). I even integrate it into a bug out system, which I call the "Stepping Stone method" of bug out logistics.
It might be basic to some but it was very apparent that many did not have a home cache when the shelter in place orders went out around the world. Not everyone is on the same level of self reliance so its good to talk about things like this. - Grimm
