As an American, now retired, I note there is little opportunity for most Americans to achieve their potential as most Americans can’t afford an advanced education. My undergrad facility has increased their tuition by ~ 18 fold since I was at that school, but part time jobs that may help a student work thru college has not increased substantially. Minimum wage in the State hosting that university has only doubled.

In China, parents provide tuition fees, and although college students also work part-time, the main source of tuition fees is still from their parents. In the United States, do parents not provide tuition fees for their children? I know that the per capita income in the United States is much higher than that in China, and the tuition fees for higher education should not constitute financial pressure for your family.
