goodday: No, he isn't. Who do you think is paying for his criminal son's attorney? His son is a murderer and the attorney wants it out of jail because he is a college student and not kept in jail because he killed someone and seriously injured another. The father is a BAD father still making the same mistake he probably made all the slime's life; no punishment for anything.

I feel bad for the parents too, but the blame is not theirs I would say. It is not uncommon to have very decent parents have bad kids. I believe it is a genetic thing, from somewhere back in the family tree. Self centered, lack of critical thinking abilities, number of factors involved I am sure. I say genetic from first hand knowledge. I have two daughters. Both brought up exactly the same way. One is very responsible, the other has some bad tendencies just as I had when I was a kid, same things, not kidding. It is so obvious to me. That kid though, had no understanding of the gravity of what he was doing, zero common sense, zero critical thinking, zero concern for others. I really cannot have sympathy for such a menace.

They referred to the perpetrator as a man because he is 21. It's not illegal to sell or provide a person 21 or over with alcohol, so what's your point other than bleeding heart liberalism? He's a man, he made several decisions "on his own" that resulted in another person's death. He and he alone should be held accountable. No what abouts.
