- Your average game of Smash is usually 3-5 minutes, sometimes less if you're REALLY good, and sometimes more if you're fighting a zoner. Either way, we tasked our Smash Pros Little Z, Marss, and ESAM to speedrun a game of Elite Smash and see if they're able to win in just ONE minute! What strategies and characters will they employ?

God I love how every time EWGF is hit the “I’m not gonna sugarcoat it” meme comes up. 💀
I really wished this channel could be more but I feel like the players have no personality which doesn’t make for a very entertaining video.. then again, maybe I am comparing them a bit too much to the underdogs. What do the others think?

@@sirjestahlot6436 Pro players are more interesting to watch personally because the gameplay is coming from the highest bracket of skill. The personality is icing on the cake as it were.

I would watch an entire series of that. I miss when they would do quizzes in person or online together so they'd all roast each other's answers.

Maybe they could watch random snippets of eachother in challenge videos and they have to guess if they win or not?

Let's be real. You know if he did, he would complain that they are too heavy and won't die which is making him lose.
Slight change for next time: do it like the lowest percent challenge, where you clock their shortest match rather than the number of matches, just so they don’t hit 60 seconds and immediately write it off as a loss
doesn't change the winner so eh
They would still write it off as a loss because everything longer than their lowest would be a loss
So it's better to keep as is because then more games will be significant which by your logic is better
Edit: a better solution is increase the timer to like 1:30
I think changing it to "most kills under a minute", honestly. So those 2 stock games are not just disappointment
Number of kills in the first 20 seconds would be a good one too. Although they would just play 20 seconds then throw potentially
Maybe make the number of won matches as a tiebreaker, so they at least have to play them through.

The Video Game Quiz Panda Challenger made me realize that Marss is consistently good at almost all of these challenges. Even if he gets 2nd, he at least puts up a good fight.

Lucas is slept on for this challenge. Down smash ledge trapping, and PK Thunder edge guards. Online players could easily get cheesed.
I like how they were all complaining about having to fight campy zoners as if 99% of elite smash isn’t comprised of campy zoners

I think it would be fun to see a retry rule added to these challenges, meaning that they can retry 'once' with the same character if they fail the goal, but do win the match. So basically for a spike challenge it would mean this:
Use DK for spike challenge and get a single spike or more > Can't use DK anymore whether you win or lose.
Use DK for spike challenge, don't get a single spike and lose > Can't use DK anymore.
Use DK for spike challenge, don't get a single spike but still win > Can use DK for 1 more match, but 1 match only regardless of the result.

1:32 It wasn't from Zelda's phantom. The phantom was reflected, which is what sent Zelda flying back. Esam died to the sweet spot of Lightning Kick (aka Zelda's forward air)

I think it would be cool if you guys saw who could take the most stocks in 30 minutes, with the same character rule as always where you can’t repeat

I met a bowser online called ESAM, beat me under a minute, I had johns, and I quit the game after that.
Next time, average time to win. And a loss counts as the full timer of that match, not when it finished.
