    • @ZachShannon1
      @ZachShannon1 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Right? It's strange, we can eat outside at restaurants in the US/UK/Europe, but it just doesn't have that same feeling. There's something about the plastic stools, the cheap tables, the whole experience that's just better than sitting down outside of a cafe and getting a sandwich and coffee.

      @@LaurenBrodauf well, tbh, not all of them have love for running these food stalls. In Korea, a lot of them will be doing it to just survive. Because they know they're old, it'll be their time any day now. That generation of people believes they can't do anything else to make money, especially by that age.
      So I'm sure there's a mix of people loving running the food stalls and cooking, and those just doing it to survive.

    I do like this episode very much. it started off slightly too quiet and chilled for the foodies show on the very lively Busan, but as Dooby builds up her classiness, intelligence and emotions, the show has become a very well-balanced and attractive non-fiction docu show. The handsome gentleman could be shown more as he is too nice to sit there and only react to Dooby.

    Cows don't have 4 stomachs they have 4 segments of it. First is the rumen which is basically a huge reservoir for bacteria and water which churns all the food. It doesn't have any acid in it so all it does is ferment the food. They don't chew food at first so what they do after eating is Regurgitate back the unchewed food and then swallow and it goes into the reticulum. The reticulum has honeycomb structures in it and basically works as a sifter and grinder. It grinds some food and if they are good they pass to the omasum. The omasum is also known as the butcher's bible. It looks like a book with a lot of pages which allow a lot of area for food to be absorbed. ANd then it's the True stomach also called the abomasum. It has acid and works like how our stomach works
    The last segment is not something we eat but the other 3 are used in cuisine all around the world. The rumen is the most used part as well as the reticulum.

    I feel Busan is a city that functions because it allows the night dwellers to enjoy their life just as the day dwellers do. In a harmony of light and dark. !*♡ thise old guys drinking at 11am may have been the night workers delivering the goods capping off their workday ♡ or just boozy old men haha either way I love them just the same

    Great video! Another good one showing different places, food, tidbits about food and culture.
    As for where to next, I’d love for you to go and show us Yosu or Cheju Island if they’re worth travelling to.
    감사합니다! 😊
