Thanks so much for that feedback!! I definitely leaning towards making them a thing :) & thanks so much, I've been trying get get back on my cycling game - maybe it's finally starting to show 😆😅
Lovely makes, and you KNOW I love that Jaden jumpsuit! Drop that pattern! Pleated miniskirt blues are real. I make the mini Bernadette Skirt by Friday Pattern Co and they are adorable but just are not for me so I will stick with the longer version. ❤
I had my eye on that skirt, I went with the Blair from True Bias Instead but it’s still on my radar. You’re right though, I think I will be sticking with the longer midi lengths too. Also grading the jumpsuit now so 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾 I can be calling for testing in a few weeks!
Absolutely! It’s such an innovative but potentially (really) useful design. I’ve dug into the pattern a bit and it seems quite doable. I just need to get those extra long zippers and then I think I’ll be able to give it a go 😅
I light up every time I see that you’ve released a video!!! Love your makes!! When I saw the jumpsuit, I was like have I seen that before?? So I was happy when you shared the previous jumpsuit you made in the same stripe fabric (confirmed I’ve been paying attention lol) I love how you played with the direction of the stripes there! Keep drafting! I appreciate you taking those creative liberties, reminds us to not be afraid to do the same! I’m trying to make some maxi dresses for summer and some matching sets, your button down and shorts set, I really appreciate- so I’ll figure out what I’ll be working with in my stash. I haven’t out right stated a no buy/low buy year, but I’m definitely in one lol (trying not to tempt fate) but I’ve been enjoying my stash thoroughly, pulling from it and getting lots of great makes completed😊 Ok, just know I’m here cheering you on, this was a delightful middle of the night nursing break watch lol
Maybe approaching commercial sewing patterns as starting points would help you get more out of them?? 🤔E.g. Whenever I make pants I need to increase the rise by 1'' and do a sway back adjustment of about another inch to get the fit I like. For a darted top I know I'll need to lower the bust dart apex by 1'' and lengthen the bodice by 1-2'' to make it hit at the right places. Instead of looking at fit alterations as an indicator for whether a pattern is good or bad we can look at them as just part of the process. Probably one of the reasons why you're drawn to self-drafting is because you're drafting for your body, so you're fitting it to your body as you're drafting which probably improves the fit of the items by a lot compared to unmodified commercial patterns. Just some food for thought. 🥰
I'm excited about your pattern drafting journey! What's new? Know Me's latest drop had a lot of nice patterns. Might be worth a look for some inspiration.
Now you know that jumpsuit is too cute. Your pleated skirt is darling, maybe you could make some small adjustments and change what you don't like about your skirt. You know you can get down with your sewing. Thank you ❤
Love the shorts, yes please release the pattern, I love the proportion of them. Also your legs look amazing in them and your cowboy boots!

Such adorable shorts 😊
Love the Rompers all versions!
I love the idea of making the garment/duffel bag. I’ve been eyeing it on the socials. Thanks for sharing the pattern!

Definitely something to chew one, thanks! 🥰
Loved this video. I'm really excited about you being into self drafting actually! I love that extra push on your creativity!!!!
Thanks! It’s really such a good mental exercise but also it’s not mentally taxing - if that makes sense 🤣
love the long jumpsuit, looks gorgeous on you
Thanks so much!! 🥰🥰

I’ll definitely check them out!
Love the jumpsuit. I want it!
Thank you! I'm resuming work on it based on the feedback, so hopefully i'll be looking for testers soon!
I have 9708. You made a beautiful shirt from that pattern! I also love the shorts and shirt you made.
Thank you! 😊 it’s a really fun and simple one to make. I’m already imagining more LOL
The skirt is cute. You shold alter it to fit better.
Those shorts are similar to men's basketball shorts of long ago
Can the shorts be made in a double gauze? I've been seeing a lot of those in the stores. I wear them to the beach or nature walk. Great makes! ❤
I think so! Double gauze and me have a love hate relationship LOL but I LOVE the idea of these as beach short!

🥰🥰🥰
I love your jumpsuit! A cowl neck is quite sexy/classy. I think❤😊
thank you! Looking back at it now, maybe it was the mistake that was meant to be 💛😊
