I’m used to seeing these with the ugly T tops… much cleaner without it. This one has the Ghia seating upgrade like my 1976 Cobra 2 had. I’d love to have this.
Beautiful car man. I have a KC in black, its all original except for the 66' 289 hipo slightly built, (425+ hp) I dropped in it. I bought mine new and still have it. It has 37,110 miles on the body and less than 2000 miles on the engine and hasn't been plated since 1988. Garage kept since new. Going for a ride in yours brought back some great memories, Can't wait to get back in mine. Thank you!
I also have a KC, but it's modified and not completely original. I still wish mine had the bumper guards. Either way, there's nothing quite like driving out in the countryside on the straights. Beautiful car.
Just my opinion but, when compared to the Fox chassis cars, these cars look much closer to the original design of the Mustang than those cars. And I have owned several fox Mustangs, 2 1984 GTs, an '85 GT, an '87 GT, and a '93 LX.
6:22 What the hell America? Why would you put stops signs on what appears to be a main road, in order to allow a side road to intersect? That seems really odd. In Australia, the side road would be waiting. Ironically, I see that Commodore there. Haha
Only thing is it’s extremely slow, my friend had one in 1987, I thought it was gonna be fast , even know it had 5.0 it was not even 200 hp, you can tell in video it’s slow! But still neat!
Not a Ford guy but a car guy. I liked these. But there are so many details that make this car look awkward. Wheel size, wheel base, and wheel arches/openings look so off.
I'm sure there are a few of us that would be interested. If you make a list, put me on it. My first car was a white 78 mustang II. Looked at a red KC but my dad said no. He was buying so I couldn't argue. Now I'm in my 50's and still want one. It would have to be a manual transmission like yours. Thanks for posting . Randall
More horsepower sounds good however, the stock t85 BorgWarner can't handle the power, and that little rear end in that king cobra was very weak too. Need a good transmission like a Ford top loader or a Borg Warner Super t10 & a Ford 9-inch rear end with a Detroit locker.
I used to have no interest in mid to late 70s cars but they are growing on me. Your car is awesome!
They have gained popularity and continue to appreciate in value. Thanks for your feedback!
I love it! They're so rare these days, especially in King Cobra form, and I'm happy this era is finally starting to get recognition.
Que bonito y que bien suena el motor
Absolutely stunning example of the Cobra , she's beautiful , take good care of her and never let her go .. Thank you for sharing , cheers.
This looks identical to my first car except mine had an automatic. Wish I appreciated it more back then. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful ride! I had the KC in red. Sold it many years ago and still regret that sale!
Wow! That's the cleanest KC I've seen!

Great story! You’re one of the very few that can truly say 1-owner, thanks for sharing!
That’s great! Wish I’d kept my 1976 Cobra.
This Mustang is growing on me, I like it👌
wow! gorgeous car. the pinstripes really pop on the dark midnight blue color. My father and I are working on getting ours drivable.
Thanks! Best of luck on your family project 😊
Gorgeous car. Really is my #1 dream car
Beautiful kc
I would slap a Coyote motor in that car and that would be a real street fighter. And a whole lot of fun.

Badass!!
These cars are so unbelievably ugly, they are actually cool. And what a great state it is in! Nice car man!

Is this a reproduction ?
No
For those making mods to any original KC, please don't. It's perfect just as it is.

Just add a 75 horsepower shot of nitrous
