Unexpected Metal Detecting Woods Hunt Upstate NY New York Found Silver and Some Old

Wife and I wanted to detect together for fathers day but my Nox 800 got water damage, she told me to take hers and I did the woods.

I bet there is a killing to be made on the beaches of Long Island where I live. Heck once I get a detector and start sweeping those beaches maybe ill make enough scratch to do some excursions further up north. Would be very cool to fuel the hobby through the hobby.

Long Island is a long ways away from me. I'm in Western NY next to the finger lakes. I don't do beaches much as it doesn't pack much history and combing a beach is extremely boring to me. I need historical stimulation to keep me going on a hunting. Since I'm a hoarder I never sell my stuff for money so gold and silver means very little to me.

Right on, I have 2 equinox 800 and a 3rd equinox 800 that my nephew keeps with me. I been meaning to do a video on all 3 coils to show how each reacts in a trashy area.

I have not been back to NY in 10 years. I know of a spot that is untouched as far as I know. Pre French & Indian War to present.
