But I keep most of my cacti under grow lights and I was told that they need a temperature difference to get them to bloom and since they’re inside, the temperature is pretty much always the same. My Thanksgiving Cactus blooms for me but someone told me that they go by light, not temperature, so that could be why.

Your cactus might be a different variety, and that might be the reason it is a little different. Does it bloom?
