Couldn’t agree more! It changes the narrative and demolishes the character development. If left in, it would explain Draco’s behavior at Malfoy Manor when he “couldn’t” identify Harry. And it’s not a long scene, so leaving it in wouldn’t have added a lot of time. Bad editing choice.
Let’s review, for those of y’all confused what’s going on: As soon as Draco realizes Harry is alive, he runs from the death eaters, screams “POTTER!” And tosses him his own wand, heading over to the Hogwarts side. AND. THEY. DIDNT. PUT. IT. IN. THE. FINAL. CUT.
BeanieBooFun yeah I was like: wait what? First: voldie why are you hugging him? Your around of the age of 78 or something. And second: this is super awkward and cringe to me
@@asvarien that's what I was wondering.. how did Lucius know? He was nowhere near them to realise.. In the books, Narcissa was desperate to know the whereabouts of her son hoping he's still alive. She asked Harry and he confirmed that Malfoy was still alive, and as a Mother in a merciful act she lied and protected Harry.
This scene has so much meaning due to that Draco finally stood up for himself instead of his parents making him do unforgivable things. It also shows how he made a choice and has changed his title to “the boy that made the right choice” I guess the people that made the movie just couldn’t spare a few seconds of valuable time for people to see that Draco had a heart...
Draco wasn't a nice person, but he wasn't evil. He couldn't kill Dumbledore when he had the chance, and he couldn't kill Harry. He was just a bully, brainwashed by his father into a situation he didn't know how to get out of.
@Anthony Johnson Draco wanted to please his father. As he got older he began to realize his father was not a nice person and in fact was evil. This created a conflict in Draco, but in the end he backed away from Voldemort and his father. He couldn't undo what he had done, but in the 19 Years Later part, he and Harry were no longer at odds. Definitely not BFFs, but no longer enemies. He and Harry were opposites of each other--Harry was good, with a little bit of hostility in him, while Draco was a bully, but with a little bit of good (from his mother, no doubt.) After 19 years, they weren't that far apart.
Apparently they removed this scene, because "it was TOO out of character, for Malfoy." Which I think is absolutely trash. Because there were at least 3 times where Draco had helped Harry in the Deathly Hallow pt1&2. And they were not removed, but this- literally 4 seconds of Draco helping out AGAIN! Was deleted...?! Makes no sense
As much as i would like to see this scene in the movie...it kinda makes sense that they cut it, because the basic characteristic of his character is that he is a coward...the times that he helped Harry were the ones that couldn't hurt himself (like when he said that he didn't know if it was Harry in deathly hallows 1, they couldn't blame him if he wasn't sure)...but running in front of everyone and Voldemort (to whom he was afraid of) to give the wand to Potter, it would required a huge amount of bravery that i don't think he had
@@jemmas.4977 Makes sense.. But if this scene was in the films, it would've shown his character development, and show how he wasn't afraid anymore, and went with his parents ONLY bcz his mother told him to
@@silversunshine2410 Yes....and i think this scene it could had made it into the movie if it was kinda smaller the movement....i mean...if maybe the wand was near Drako and he just grabbed and threw it to Potter...something like this...not running in front of everyone, including death himself(Voldemort)
In the movies, I feel that Lucius served Voldemort out of fear, and not out of true devotion to Voldemort’s ideals. Perhaps he did believe in the ideals a little, but not to the point where he’d kill children for it. Remember in the ministry, it’s him that stops Bellatrix from attacking Neville immediately. Combine this with Voldemort breaking his wand and humiliating him, I feel that Lucius is quietly in disagreement with Voldemort but there only out of fear for himself and his family. Narcissa however is only there because of her son, I think. She seems to completely disagree with the attack on Hogwarts because of all the children there, including her own son, which may also be why she saved Harry. In short, Voldemort was extreme in his methods and it turned the Malfoy’s against him. Narcissa seems to be the one forcing Lucius to have the courage to act on that disagreement because she doesn’t care about his opinion or fear of Voldemort, she is focused entirely on getting Draco out of there even if it means desertion and Lucius follows because he secretly wants them all to defeat the one he fears and isn’t interested in helping Voldemort.
Considering they filmed this scene but didn’t put it in the movie, I’m just going to pretend that it really happened because it did AND NO ONE CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE
DID ANYONE NOTICE??? that Draco didn't go when Lucius called him, He went when Narcissa called. He went there for his mother. He went to other side and held his mother's hand while we can clearly see him ignoring Lucius. Even Lucius hesitates to keep hand on his shoulder. THESE DETAILS 😭💗💗
okay three things happened. 1. Neville pulled out Gryffindor's Sword like a bad ass. 2. Harry came back to life and fell out of Hagrid's arms 3. Draco just fucking risked his life
I love this moment. Draco not only helps Harry throwing him his wand but going on between Voldemort and him to do it. I don't understand why they deleted this scene. The last 2 movies gave redemption to so many "unfriendly" characters like Petunia (well, they deleted that scene too), Dudly, Snape... even Mrs Malfoy helped Harry. I think Draco deserved it too.
I don't think Petunia got a redemption scene... All I recall seeing was her saying "your not the only one who lost someone harry" like it excuses the abuse she and her husband put him through all his life and treated him like a slave... if she REALLY loved her sister like she hints at she woudln't have treated her sister's only son like dirt beneath her heel
@@stephenbyrne2170 There is another video of this scene from the set (From different angle). There you can clearly see Draco tossing the wand and Harry catching it. Draco was weak. He did not have to join the dark side, even if he was raised to. He chose that and that's on him. Sirius was raised under the same circumstances as Draco, but unlike him, he made the right choices. He was strong enough to stand up to his family and leave that life behind. However, I do not believe that Draco was a bad person (unlike his dad and aunt), he made the right choice in the end that's saying something.
Neville standing up against Voldemort is badass. In fact he has always exhibited tremendous moral courage, standing up against friends & foe alike for what he believes in. Neville for president 👍🏻
In the books the only thing that determined Neville being "the boy who lived" vs Harry was Voldemorts interpretation of a prophecy. If it had been any different then Harry's parents would have been driven mad by Bellatrix and Neville would be the Boy who lived.
Neville’s bravery in this movie proves why he’s been a Gryffindor all those years. If he didn’t have it in him; he would have been a Hufflepuff. He also proved it standing up to Harry in the Sorcerer’s Stone.
nah i can't forgive the director for cutting this scene out. I always thought Draco was kind deep down in his heart, he just grew up surrounded by idiots. He was always jealous of Harry, but in the last movies he lowkey supported him and was trying to be a better person.
I mean, they have the emotional scene where he had a panic attack and ripped of his sweater while leaning against the bathroom sink, that showed how torn he was. But yes, i hate that this scene was cut.
I wept for Draco when he looked around for someone to keep him on the good side but everyone just let him go. And then he handed his wand to Harry...he was a good guy after all 😭😭😭😭
Anthony Johnson going to Dumbledore for help would not only risk the death of his entire family if Voldemort found out, but it would mean Draco would have to turn his back on his family and leave everything. Cuz, I think we can all say with confidence that Lucius and Narcissa would NEVER have gone with Dumbledore
I feel like Draco always wanted be Harry’s friend because in the 1st book he talked to Harry in the shop and in the 1st book and movie he asked Harry to be his friend. I just feel like Harry just made him an enemy and Draco was mad that he just started bullying Harry. But once Harry revealed that he wasn’t dead, Draco was relieved and instantly ran to Harry because he still cared about Harry, that’s why he was always visiting him on the train and talking to him during class even if it was a little mean, he still took time to go see Harry!! Edit: wow!! I can’t believe I have 4K likes on this tysm!
Gautham Roopesh i mean probably because the only ever interactions Harry had with draco were of draco being a brat and a bully, so why would he want to
He went to his parents and then threw his wand. You can see he comes from the death eater's side when running. And also, it makes sense he comes from there because 1. He'd be the nearest ally with a wand to Harry 2. If he was at the other side, at the backish, imagine how weird it is that no one else threw their wand at him and how far they'd have to run as if voldemort won't stop them xD Whereas draco comes from behind voldemorts vision and is near so it makes sense. It would also explain well why the Malfoys run away in that battle, because Draco betrayed the death eaters. It wasn't just random cowardice, it was because Draco helped Harry. Sidenote: really sad no one stopped Draco from going. He was clearly CLEARLY hesitant and yet everyone just kinda accepted it. Which shows his whole life in Hogwarts in a nutshell. The ones on the good side didn't even bother thinking that maybe he's being forced and needs a helping hand, someone who'd tell him to not do it. NOT when it's too late. Dumbledore legit only hints at it at HBP, when he mentions how "at the end of the day, you students are their greatest weapon" Why not have had this realization way before and had someone guide him? Why only when it's too late? YET despite being completely surrounded by negative influences, despite having been rejected and abandoned by the good side, Draco still is in conflict with his actions. He's constantly torn through the latter half. Imagine what he could've been if only someone held out a helping hand and told him to join the good side instead.
Not to mention... If Rowling wanted Draco to be the "villain/bully" then she should not have given him a family. A wife who doesn't believe in blood purity. Parents who disowned him, in a sense, for not listening to him to give up his wife. That he was literally okay with the Malfoy tree ending with him. That is why I 100% believe that Draco would go against the Death Eaters because he never had a real choice in joining them. His father and mother chose to follow Voldemort in the past, but didn't want Voldemort to kill their son so they followed out of obligation during Deathly Hallows.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but Draco did not have a wand to throw to Harry. Draco’s own wand was stolen by Harry in Malfoy Manor. During the Battle of Hogwarts, Draco is using his mother’s wand, while Harry is using what used to be Draco’s wand. But Narcissa’s wand is also lost in the fire that engulfs the Room of Requirement (Fiendfyre). The books explain this more clearly, but Harry was never without a wand. He woke up after Voldemort “killed” him, feeling his (Draco’s) wand against his chest as he lay on the ground.
It also would have been a symbol of repayment, Harry saved Draco’s life in the room of requirement, with Draco giving him a wand he would have replayed him for saving his life. Draco would have saved Harry in a time when he most needed it, just like Harry did for Draco
@@nicolerusso6958 It's a bit of a continuity error as Draco's wand is in multiple places at once, but the original intent was that Narcissa takes Draco's wand from Harry when he's "dead", then gives it back to Draco, who in turn gives it to Harry here.
It makes me so upset they cut this out. It would've been such a beautiful scene. I really do think Draco was just a confused kid who was ultimately a good guy raised by bad people.

If they re-released deathly hallows with this scene added in they would make so much money because the fans (including myself) would love to see this redemption scene for Draco
This shows Draco's struggle so much. Same when he was crying and looking himself in the mirror, and when he was saying "don't you understand? I have to do this", he really wasn't a bad person and this movie could've shown that by adding this scene but they didn't. Smh
i feel like the director wanted to show that he is not that bad more clearly, adding this deleted scene, but it is not really a canon i think, that jk rolling wanted draco to be a bad guy, but why did she show how he helped harry and cover him, showed that he had a depression, that he was lost...i don’t understand her...
If Draco Malloy has his own series 1. Draco malfoy and the rejected handshake 2. Draco Malloy and the list quidditch match 3. Draco malfoy and the painful punch 4. Draco malfoy and his father will hear about this 5. Draco malfoy and the room of requirement 6. Draco malfoy and dumbledores death 7. Draco malfoy and goyle fell in the fire
This scene makes so much more sense. Its so stupid how harry just found Draco's wand lying around at the perfect moment whereas here he threw his wand at potter And draco deserved a redemption arc, he was just a boy who was manipulated by his father, and he didn't have a choice, he wanted to do good, they could have shown how he finally stood up for himself and what he thought was right he had a pure heart, he would have inspired so many kids. Don't mind me i just going to pretend this is the real ending period.
it provides a continuity error. In the movie, when harry awakes, Draco and his family leaves, that couldn´t have been possible if he have ran again to the school
@@bernardoromero5009 i believe the part where Draco leaves with his family was part of the ensuing chaos, when harry started during voldemort, but they cut the part out, and reshot the scene to make it so that Draco leaves with his family even before harry declares himself to be alive
This is my first time that I saw Draco calling Harry "Potter" in a good reason but WHOEVER DELETED THIS SHOULD BE PUT IN PRISON OF AZKABAN FOREVER AND EVER
Accually J.K. Rowling deleted this scene. She said it was "too out of character for Draco". And it wasn't in the books. But I agree with you she should be put in Azkaban.
Honestly, I repeated the scene where Draco runs towards Harry like 10 times... even after so many years I find it hard to believe that they deleted this scene since it represents so much for everyone
I refuse to believe in any ending but this. I don't give a damn if it wasn't actually in the final cut, THIS was the ending for me. Draco wanted to stay. He was stone faced for so long. He was raised in an unsteady environment and didn't ever know who to trust, besides his mother. So he WAS going to stay with the others...you could see it, he wanted to. He made no attempt to move until his mother called him...she was trying to protect him and because she is the only person he knows he can trust, he'll do anything she says, including what he did in the movie. It's sad but that's how the story goes. But as I said, THIS is my ending. I don't understand why they wouldn't do this. It adds so much to his character. Draco was NEVER a bad guy. NEVER. He was told what we was doing was right. Once he realized it wasn't, he wanted to leave but he was in too deep. He had no other choice. But if he did, I fully believe he would've taken it.
So true I love Draco this is the real ending and always will be he moved and grew so much as a character and wanted to stay and I dislike how the movie made him look stupid and like a coward when in overall he wanted to stay.
Later on, when their kids are getting ready to go to hogwarts, Draco looks over at Harry and acknowledges him, I never knew why they made up for each other until now.
So basically... Draco is so relieved that Harry is alive that he sounds like he is sobbing while calling his name and runs after him... very impressive! Of course we don't see the actual wand throwing, just that Harry suddenly has the wand that he aslo had in the Forbidden Forest.
Nah,Draco yelled Potter and tossed his wand to him In the book Harry never lost his wand but in the movie he did so Draco basically gave him a way to fight
even though they hated eachother, i think in the end draco literally tried to SAVE harry by giving him the wand. i don’t think draco actually hated harry, i think he was jealous because he didn’t have a family who watched his every move
All right I’m recording this on the voice thingy so please don’t judge and anything like please. So you said that Draco was jealous of Harry but I don’t think that’s entirely correct. Draco did grow up in a toxic household where he was terrified of his mother and father which would mean that they neglected Draco. And never gave him a love or affection and I guess he was just kind of jealous of the way that Harry had actual friends that actually love them and stuff. Obviously he had Crabe, Goyle,Pansy, and Blaise but I don’t think that was really enough for Draco, he wanted his parents to love him but I guess since Harry had friends that loved him like parents would Draco was jealous of that. But may I say that Draco is not evil. He just grew up in a toxic household then I guess that led to him being forced by his parents to be mean to people ( like Harry Potter ) because you can you can spot that in one of the movies that Draco actually helped Harry a lot like surviving I guess surviving I guess it was called “ Deathly Hallows “ One and two I think. So yeah I don’t really think that was fully correct but you are a little bit of correct I’m gonna give you credit for that.
Madzie 2000 There is a slight difference. For Star Wars they did that because they want it to be apart of the film and considered canon. It wasn't just putting in deleted scenes.
Drarry shippers are shaking! Draco freaking ran over to the side which his parents WERENT ON all because he saw Harry jump out of Hagrid's arms. Plus when Narcissa and Lucius were calling him to come over, the look on his face explains it all! He looked like he was going to cry because Voldemort announced Harry's death and everyone around him were staring at him, almost knowing.
its because draco grew up with no choice but do as his uptight parents say :( it honestly breaks my heart how he had to bully harry and his friends because his family didnt like harry potter and he was forced to go to the dark lord's side as he had no other choice but to obey his parents, and the scene where draco gives his wand to harry potter when he wakes up and get relieved that hes alive just showed he had enough of his parents and he disobeyed them for harry because harry saved draco from the fires in the secret room, but they deleted that scene where draco gave his wand to harry potter :( it was honestly a redemption scene for Draco and show hes nice its really sad it got deleted :(
Why would anyone care about him? He's been mean to everyone for seven years You need to be nice to people at least from time to time to make some friends, as far as I know lol
@@lxtatar7773 I get your point, but I mean come on. Sure, he was rude and all, but they should know that he wouldn’t want to join the death eaters,. As he grew up, he missed the simpler times, when he didn’t have to choose side or work with evil.
@@NicoLaak2005 I agree that Draco was a product of his upbringing, but to say he never did anything evil or that he's a good guy inside, that's 'a bit' of a stretch. Im really upset that some people assume that Draco is a bad guy. Draco was brought up with a difficult task of having a dark blooded family. Draco never had the choice due to a family of voldemort supporters. Through the whole 8 films I could see Draco was never meant to be bad and in a way he was controlled by the people who surround him. Draco is my favourite character by far because I can relate to him alot (not that my family is mean but). I really want more people to realize this. - Fellow Slytherin
Akrak He might, but remember he also didn't sell Harry out when they were captured and brought to Malfoy Manor. Draco refused to identify him, and kept shrugging it off when he was asked.
Erin The Slytherin I agree with you. Dracos not a bad kid. Like yeah he was a bully but in the first three movies he was so happy and after that all he did was become sad and depressed. He's like the way he is because of the way he was brought up. Bs he wanted to be a death eater. But in the head just like he's father, he was to weak. He didn't stand up or go to the right side when we all know he probably did. Dracos my fav character but I just really wish he would of helped Potter in the end. If you are a great draco fan I suggest you read the fanfiction "you will be the death of me" on wattpad. Legit pls do you won't regret it. Theirs three parts and it's magnificent
Deleted this and the scene when his father abused him in brogan and berks, I think jk Rowling needed to be more empathic and give the bad character a chance to be heard, to be good. So many scenes cut, for example ones of Dudley saying sorry and draco doing good. It's almost like she wanted a clean line between bad and good but as sirius said There's a death eater In us all. we all have good and bad sides. I wish jk Rowling made more of an effort to show that
Claire JettLoveless Beautiful words, I love it! my brother said something though. ("How about Umbrat or whatever? That toad is no good, is she?) my brother...
jk rowling added all these to the books, its not her who didnt put them in the movies. its the directors or the editors or producers or whoever has a call on that shit
I love how every death eater is laughing when Voldemort laughed about Harry's death but Lucious and Narcissa. They didn't even bother laughing. Also I just realized that after the battle started again Bellatrix was screaming for Lucious to come back and fight.
There's something interesting about Lucius just not being comfortable with all the violence. He likes power and privilege, but the actual genocide and deaths makes him uncomfortable. Him and his family just get the fuck out of there at the end.
@@arandombard1197 Idk if Lucius is uncomfortable with violence but I do think he absolutely hated his life after Voldermort came back. Because remember, the Malfoys were living great between Voldemort's first death and his resurrection. They were rich, influential, privileged etc. But when Voldemort came back, Lucius ended up in prison, Draco was tasked to do an impossible task that gave him so much emotional stress and trauma, same with his mother and they had to give up their mansion to a psychopath and his gigantic snake. Even though, the Malfoys were on the Dark side, I think they probably hated Voldemort about as much as anyone else. And that's why they were more than happy leaving the battle scene and probably hoped Harry would defeat him.
@@enchantedtonight The reason was that Lucius used a horcrux (Tom Riddle's diary) and because of that it got destroyed. It's obvious Voldemort got mad and punished Lucius, taking his wand to kill Harry, giving Draco an impossible task and many other things. Of course Lucius didn't know it was a horcrux. He knew it was a dark magic object and decided to use it to gain Hogwart Headmaster's position. When Harry, Hermiona and Ron got caught, Lucius hoped to gain Voldemort's forgiveness. In the end, when thing went really bad, he was interested only in saving his family. And in the book this scene was very different. No one cared about Harry since everyone thought he was dead. Death eaters were attacked by centaurs and this is why many of them ran away. Harry's body was just left there and everyone was engaged in fight. Harry revealed himself in the end, when Vodemort tried to kill Molly Weasley after she killed Bellatrix Lestrange, his the most loyal servant. Compared to books the 7th and 8th parts are the worst. There was so much potential to make great films, so much better than Yeats made.
Well in the book by this point lucius and narcissa don’t even care that Voldemort won they just wanted Draco safe. Narcissa even knew Harry was alive and said nothing that indicated that to Voldemort
0:45. McGonagall: Holy shit this is bad 1:14 Draco: Not now Dad can't you see I'm busy trying to blend in and pretend not to be a Death Eater and pray every night that He won't kill me?
Aprilita Dini Draco isn’t a bad guy, he’s a good kid raised in a Voldemort supporters family. He also being a “bad guy” so his parents will be proud. He has no choice except for supporting voldemort.
It's a crime they didn't add this scene. It would've been the perfect ending to Draco's character arc. Showing us that in the end he was a pretty good guy when he didn't follow in his parents footsteps.
In my mind, this is exactly how the scene went. Draco is the best character. He’s so misunderstood, and his character is so deep. I freaking love him so much.
Shrek Fan - i disagree. i believe the only reason he wasn’t good was because he was a coward. he was just a kid, born into a lifestyle that he didn’t want. if he hadve stood up to everyone - his parents, voldemort, whoever, then he would’ve been a much better character. he deserved a redemption.
Honestly that deleted scene was the most horrible scene of Draco. It was so out of character and disrespectful to the book Draco, Draco was never a good guy and shouldn't be it just because his idiotic fangirls want him to. I would honestly delete this scene aswell.
@@АнастасіяМисюра draco was not a bad person he was forced to be bad because he didn't want to disappoint his father who was indeed a terrible person. draco deserved a redemption arc in the movies. it didn't make sense to redeem snape a child abuser and not draco who truly had no choice in his life.
I feel Draco was never a bad guy, he was just raised around bad people, hearing bad things about good people. He was kind of a jerk in the beginning, but he never wanted to join Voldemort much less kill people. That's the whole reason Snape kills dumbledore is because Draco couldn't bring himself to do it. Because he knew there was no reason for him to die. Draco was just always threatened to be bad and he would have been killed if Dumbledore didn't die. Like if you see my point here
Also, he was constantly living up to the expectations of his family (father) afraid that if he said or did anything to shame the family, he'd disappoint him. Draco has always looked up to his father and the thought of disappointing him is something he can't stand. For example, he feels obliged to make un of Ron because of the family rivalry. If Draco wasn't a malfoy, I think he'd turn out to be one of Harry's great friends because they're not too different.
I know right. Some people don't even try to understand Draco. Harry doesn't understand him at all. Not even when Draco saves Harry in the second to last movie. It makes me angry.

I just realized that in the books Lucius and Narcissa knew Harry was alive and they were just calling Draco so they could run away 😭.
They were not evil. They just were bitches.
I’m pretty sure that’s what happened in the movies too, they just kinda leave over the bridge with Draco as Voldemort and company battles hogwarts
Narcissa knew for sure, I'm not sure that Lucius knew though.
@@asvarien but how she know that harry is alive ??
This scene has so much meaning due to that Draco finally stood up for himself instead of his parents making him do unforgivable things. It also shows how he made a choice and has changed his title to “the boy that made the right choice” I guess the people that made the movie just couldn’t spare a few seconds of valuable time for people to see that Draco had a heart...

I know ...
Draco wasn't a nice person, but he wasn't evil. He couldn't kill Dumbledore when he had the chance, and he couldn't kill Harry. He was just a bully, brainwashed by his father into a situation he didn't know how to get out of.
Absolutely
@Anthony Johnson
he said he was a bully
This proves, proper upbringing is essential.
@@wasifiqbal9984 what? as opposed to being an orphan living in a cupboard

Voldemort is a narcissistic piece of wizarding garbage. X'D
Yeah they didn't care anymore, that's why

Because David Yates does not understand Harry Potter
My phone must be damaged because I can't see him throwing him anything. Just running back to him, calling out his name.

10,000 points for Gryffindor
And that's why he deserved the sword
Neville’s bravery in this movie proves why he’s been a Gryffindor all those years. If he didn’t have it in him; he would have been a Hufflepuff. He also proved it standing up to Harry in the Sorcerer’s Stone.
nah i can't forgive the director for cutting this scene out. I always thought Draco was kind deep down in his heart, he just grew up surrounded by idiots. He was always jealous of Harry, but in the last movies he lowkey supported him and was trying to be a better person.

@@God.Is.Love7 yeah lmao ik, I just thought it was funny. I'm a huge hp fan-
He went to his parents and then threw his wand.
You can see he comes from the death eater's side when running. And also, it makes sense he comes from there because
1. He'd be the nearest ally with a wand to Harry
2. If he was at the other side, at the backish, imagine how weird it is that no one else threw their wand at him and how far they'd have to run as if voldemort won't stop them xD
Whereas draco comes from behind voldemorts vision and is near so it makes sense.
Dumbledore legit only hints at it at HBP, when he mentions how "at the end of the day, you students are their greatest weapon"
Why not have had this realization way before and had someone guide him?
Malfoy wasn't pleasant to be around. His father's attitude was no better. Hence, most students stay away from him.
It makes me so upset they cut this out. It would've been such a beautiful scene. I really do think Draco was just a confused kid who was ultimately a good guy raised by bad people.
I agree 100% (I love your profile picture btw)

Coming from Draco Malfoy himself

Can I have a little chat with the person that decided to delete this? Don’t worry it’s just a chat :)
David Yates ewwww
Get her time turner out, travelled back in time to the cutter and takes out her wand: "imprerio. DON'T CUT THIS SCENE OUT"
How about we throw them into the fiery pits of hell and torture their soul?
@@lia_night9008 pretty edgy.
Elanor Allmann and remember it was Draco’s momma that saved him.
Jose Hill only because she didn’t know whether Draco was dead and if Harry was alive, Voldemort would kill the Malfoy’s
Drarry...
I guess there was a deleted scene here where Draco yelled "Potter" and threw his wand to him.
Nah,Draco yelled Potter and tossed his wand to him
In the book Harry never lost his wand but in the movie he did so Draco basically gave him a way to fight
even though they hated eachother, i think in the end draco literally tried to SAVE harry by giving him the wand. i don’t think draco actually hated harry, i think he was jealous because he didn’t have a family who watched his every move
And at this moment the film directors knew..... THE DRARRY WAS TOO STRONG. so they deleted it. (my reaction: WHYYYYYYYY)
Kaori Miyazono IKR DRARRY IS THE BEST
The Straights™ just couldn't handle the sheer, raw gay power
DRARRY IS TOO STRONG FOR THEM
the hets are at it again
They just couldn’t let Draco be the good guy for once. Draco was sooo misunderstood 💚💚💚
I'm always going to pretend that the scene was always in the movie. It really bugs me that it isn't.
I wish they would do what Star Wars did and give you the option to watch the movie with the deleted scenes added in... so good!
Madzie 2000 There is a slight difference. For Star Wars they did that because they want it to be apart of the film and considered canon. It wasn't just putting in deleted scenes.
Erin Han Its just a second of Malfoy running lol. And there are green screens in the background.
Juan Cruz Castiglione that one second of Draco running and throwing Harry a wand, means a lot.
0:57 is why it isnt. Hope that can help you get closure.
Drarry shippers are shaking!
Draco freaking ran over to the side which his parents WERENT ON all because he saw Harry jump out of Hagrid's arms. Plus when Narcissa and Lucius were calling him to come over, the look on his face explains it all! He looked like he was going to cry because Voldemort announced Harry's death and everyone around him were staring at him, almost knowing.
he gave him a wand
Anthony Johnson actually, it’s a deleted scene
Anthony Johnson huh do you hear that. Oh wait that’s nobody giving a sh*t about you opinion.
The only reason he goes to voldemorts side was that nobody stopped him. You can see he's looking around, and notice that nobody cares about him.💔💔🥺🥺🥺
its because draco grew up with no choice but do as his uptight parents say :( it honestly breaks my heart how he had to bully harry and his friends because his family didnt like harry potter and he was forced to go to the dark lord's side as he had no other choice but to obey his parents, and the scene where draco gives his wand to harry potter when he wakes up and get relieved that hes alive just showed he had enough of his parents and he disobeyed them for harry because harry saved draco from the fires in the secret room, but they deleted that scene where draco gave his wand to harry potter :( it was honestly a redemption scene for Draco and show hes nice its really sad it got deleted :(
thats literally what i thought. they are fucking cruel dude
Why would anyone care about him? He's been mean to everyone for seven years
You need to be nice to people at least from time to time to make some friends, as far as I know lol
@@lxtatar7773 I get your point, but I mean come on. Sure, he was rude and all, but they should know that he wouldn’t want to join the death eaters,. I personally feel like Draco is a good guy inside, but was thought by Lucius to be mean. He never did anything evil, at least not on free will. He was forced to a fate he didn’t want. As he grew up, he missed the simpler times, when he didn’t have to choose side or work with evil.
@@NicoLaak2005 I agree that Draco was a product of his upbringing, but to say he never did anything evil or that he's a good guy inside, that's 'a bit' of a stretch. Tom Felton is a charismatic actor, and also seems to be a nice guy in rl, I personally think that's the reason there are Draco fans. When you only read the books without watching the films, you can really see he's just mean. That's my opinion anyway
The "potter" Omg my heart ❤❤❤he can be nice he's just broken

Why did they cut dis bootiful drarry scene out
@Dangan!Leah it is still Drarry, they are fictional characters, get over it.
I believe in drarry
The_Drarryshipper yesh DRARRY I think they cut it so they could have hinny 😒
Luna Playz
Because Hinny makes more sense than Drarry. Harry always felt different when it came to Ginny. She admired him from the very start as well.

@@resurrectionmusic9446 hahah yeah he should be sent to hell😅
Im really upset that some people assume that Draco is a bad guy. Draco was brought up with a difficult task of having a dark blooded family. Draco never had the choice due to a family of voldemort supporters. Through the whole 8 films I could see Draco was never meant to be bad and in a way he was controlled by the people who surround him. Draco is my favourite character by far because I can relate to him alot (not that my family is mean but). I really want more people to realize this. - Fellow Slytherin
Jk Rowling herself has said Draco is a bad guy. She doesn't understand why people think he has some golden heart, he's all sneer.
+Akrak cuz he's hot
Akrak He might, but remember he also didn't sell Harry out when they were captured and brought to Malfoy Manor. Draco refused to identify him, and kept shrugging it off when he was asked.
True and mother also said he was dead when she knew fully well he was not
Erin The Slytherin I agree with you.
I wish jk Rowling made more of an effort to show that
Claire JettLoveless beautiful
Actually sirius said: "the world is not divided between good people and death eaters, everyone has a DARK side". But yes, i agree with you :-)
Claire JettLoveless
Beautiful words, I love it!
my brother said something though.
("How about Umbrat or whatever? That toad is no good, is she?)
my brother...
Claire JettLoveless she even said she didnt like draco so she made him out to be bad and only bad
jk rowling added all these to the books, its not her who didnt put them in the movies. its the directors or the editors or producers or whoever has a call on that shit
@@enchantedtonight
The reason was that Lucius used a horcrux (Tom Riddle's diary) and because of that it got destroyed.
I love how the courtyard here suddenly got 300% bigger for this fight.
0:45. McGonagall: Holy shit this is bad
1:14 Draco: Not now Dad can't you see I'm busy trying to blend in and pretend not to be a Death Eater and pray every night that He won't kill me?
Siriously? -_-
did he run to help harry?? omg what a plot twist, i wish they didn't cut it :( people need to know that draco has turned to be a good guy
Aprilita Dimi - He ran and threw Harrys wand to him. Switching sides. xx
Aprilita Dini
Draco isn’t a bad guy, he’s a good kid raised in a Voldemort supporters family. He also being a “bad guy” so his parents will be proud. He has no choice except for supporting voldemort.
No he ran forward and threw Harry his wand. ( Draco’s mum gave him harry’s wand

i love this why did they have to cut it out it. lawd my feels when he said potter.
Crystal Salazar ikr
In my mind, this is exactly how the scene went. Draco is the best character. He’s so misunderstood, and his character is so deep. I freaking love him so much.
you are misunderstanding him. he was a horrible person, the only reason he wasn’t evil was because he was a coward.
Starsong Gamez he did deserve a redemption but this scene was not a good one. Also, Draco was too much of a coward to be either good or evil.
notice how Draco didn’t go when his dad tells him too. But he goes to his mother? That shows a lot.
Who was the person who cut this out?
*_I just wanna talk._*
Was probably Umbrige.
puppy gu *draws knife* yes… talk…
Honestly that deleted scene was the most horrible scene of Draco. It was so out of character and disrespectful to the book Draco, Draco was never a good guy and shouldn't be it just because his idiotic fangirls want him to.
I would honestly delete this scene aswell.
@@АнастасіяМисюра draco was not a bad person he was forced to be bad because he didn't want to disappoint his father who was indeed a terrible person. draco deserved a redemption arc in the movies. it didn't make sense to redeem snape a child abuser and not draco who truly had no choice in his life.
Анастасія Мисюра nah he was just misunderstood, he was neglected by his father and treated like an object everyday of his life

Doesn't he have a month
Agreed
andrew miller At the Malfoy Manor. When Harry and the others were captured, he didnt tell Bellatrix that one of the person that were captured was Harry (cause at that time, Hermione changed Harry to look different). Even when she demanded him to tell her if they guy was actually Harry, he just shook his head.
The Wonder Sisters your right he was raised by terrible people but he is still awesome
