Isuzu Rodeos are pretty based. My old roommate got one from Cali that a shop messed up the timing belt on and they damaged the tensioner threads. We drilled and helicoiled it snd it is still running like a dream.
X5 with the NA N52 has been a winter beast. Some studded snow tires up there in Montana and you’re straight golden. You can get one for under 6k all day long. Look for the chrome trim around the windows if you don’t want the headache of the dynamic drive system (I promise it’s a pain 😂)
New fan of y'all. I'm from Oklahoma. You guys are hilarious. You oughta do an episode of the most geaked out lookin tweeker rides. I'm sure market place is full of seriously comicallygakked modified rides
I scored a 2012 Subaru Outback 3.6r 5 speed automatic with 153k miles for $6500. Spark plugs, belts, fluids, shocks, brakes, rotors, damn near everything has been done within 10k miles. Just replaced the broken backup camera in the driveway, and 13 cents worth of silicone spray and white lithium grease got the "broken" moonroof working, and four hours of washing and waxing made that 13 yo car look MINT. 🤓👍
4:00 the REAL reason for the acc'y belts at the firewall is because the engine is reverse.. output at the front, to a drive chain to the clutch and transmission UNDER the engine... the oil pan IS the top of the transmission.. divorces totally, from the engine ... but they botl together.. there is JUST enough room to ev swap the orig ICE out, since it is on top of the trans. but very Citroen... great driving car... manual ONLY
I’m 6’4 and daily drive a 98 sonoma single cab regular bed and fit comfortably. The absolute perfect daily driver for any dude who’s into cars because I have hauled countless things in my little bed. I wouldn’t count his height out for a ranger/s10/sonoma
the 9-5 Aero and 9-3 Viggen called, and want an episode. Same with the 900 SPG. The 9-3 Viggen in yellow is stupid rare, very cool. Saabarus are cool as well. Very heeheehawhaw. *Edit, Isuzu Cope-o (why not a Trooper?) also Honda Passport, why not shill that?
Everyones sleeping on the xterra. Great little suv's but i have a soft spot for those after owning a frontier. Toyota sequoi is another good one easily getable for under 10k. Lexus equivelant of any late 90's early 00's suv for some reason not selling top dollar and they're usually well kept.
I need to send in my 2016 6.7 F250 4x4 with 48k miles that I bought for $35k. Long bed crew cab, lifted with fox's on 37 Toyos, can easily fit 40's. Deleated, piped, tuned with 12" kickers and alpines in the doors. Clean carfax and was sold and stayed in Florida. I live 20 min away from where it was originally sold. Found it an hour away, have been looking for a newish truck for over a year and refused to pay these ridiculous prices for a truck. Bluebook is $50k+ and upgrades are at least another 10k. Was at a major dealer and I think they had a fire sale on it because dealers can get in big trouble for selling a vehicle with emission delete.
And I bought it to use it. I have an AC business so use it to haul my trailer loaded with equipment. I also plan on getting a toyhauler for hauling my quads and camping at tracks or woods where our group of families ride at. Right now I just have my 16ft work trailer that I threw a mini split on and blow up an air mattress.
Truck? Truck truck truck. Truck prices are worse than traffic. Sold the old S-10 for $3500. It was missing both doors, had a broken axle, and the spare tire chain was seized up, rust all over. Absolutely absurd that someone bought it. Now excuse me, I need to go clean the Taco. I paid $36k for it.
Iirc, police engine idle helps with oil distribution to the top end. the stock idle doesn’t move enough oil around if idling for hours so it kicks up the idle to help with that. Idfk though.
woo bronco ii at the beginning, I picked mine up for $800 in 2019, and have been watching it appreciate, I want to get rid of it, but im just holding onto it
It's always the Chevys that get the Carolina Squat treatment. It's just camouflage. They would look like that if they ever put anything in the bed anyway. This way, they can claim it's an intentional style statement instead of a lackluster payload capacity. There's a cost to having the smoothest riding pickup.
I don't know how I should that netgear and I share more of the same interest in weird cars than any of the other guys. I have a Nismo RS Juke I got dirt cheap off a repo built as a track gokart more or less. A 94 Probe GT manual, all original black and tan leather interior red paint that had 67k miles when I bought it for next to nothing because it "ran when parked but won't start now," that just had a bad wire on the starter. A 4WD 94 hardbody Geo Tracker with 94k miles. An 08 RX8 with over 240k miles on the original Renesis (that I bought at under 10k miles with money I made flipping RX8s after rebuilding them over the weekend for extra cash). 97 ST204 Celica I did a RWD and turbo 1GR swap to (very conservative tune down to around 320-330hp at the wheels, anymore, and I would have needed a full wide body to cover fat tires and a harsher suspension swap, and I'm not really about that life). List goes on for weird stuff everybody but me seems to hate. Used to you could get all this stuff cheap, but I've just about given up getting another Probe GT or MX6 that is just clapped out enough I don't mind tearing into it as a project (the Probe GT I have now is too mint, eventually I'll get some nice wheels and that's all I plan on doing to it, I think they're neat as-is).
I’m pretty sure I saw Netgear on the streets of Houston today wearing a ‘foo’s gone wild’ t shirt. Appeared to be of similar build. Return of net on the streets?
Any 2011 or newer Ford Explorer has a bad water pump and needs the motor pulled to fix it. I have a 2006 4.0 as long as you change the external timing chain tensioners st 60k miles they run forever. Problem is nobody ever did and you will need a motor out to change the rear jackshaft timing chain along with the front chains same as a porch good luck fixing that 😅 it's cheaper to toss it in the bin. Get a 4.6 V8 I have two they go forever and my Stang loves eBay turbo boost 25 years of beating it still running perfectly.
Just get him a Honda or toyota. That 4l60e on a Chevy is already gonna go. I got my z71 for 5500 bucks...drove great and towed amazing...parked it for a week and the trans died from sitting for 7 days.
Gem is absolutely a stretch on the rodeos. I have one in my front yard that is going to the scrap yard very soon. They are just a cope 2nd gen 4runner that is arguably worse in every way. The only good thing on the rodeos is the 4 wheel disc brakes. Every component hangs lower to the ground than any other comparable 4x4. Huge ground clearance issues and everything is quite delicate. Parts are difficult as isuzu stopped supporting passenger vehicles nearly 15 years ago. The clutch system is stupid all the way around. The fork PULLS on the throw out bearing, that sometimes comes out. The lines are routed in a way that basically males it impossible to bleed them in a conventional manner. Fuck those cars. They belong in the junkyard.
I’m 6’3 and I can’t comfortably sit in a ranger I feel like my knees are beside my head lol, now a Toyota or a Nissan hardbody they are ROOMY, haven’t really been in a s10 tho
I almost bought a VCross back in 2012. Ugly as sin, but fun to drive. If you're even slightly thick you're not squeezing into the backseat though. No San Antonio women allowed in this piece.
Netgear and his rodeo lol my grandma had a rodeo for a long time before it broke down fully. Weird seeing a car i grew up with on a car youtube channel

Every Saab has scratches on the right side of the steering column from normies stabbing it with a key.
