@@prussia9255 This just plain is not true. He pretty much always wins his lane, his team always just falls apart around him except for two morgana games are the only truly bad games he has played on stage.
I'm glad to see Goldenglue back in LCS. For all the toxic players you hear about, he always has seemed like a positive and friendly guy. Always hope he does well :)
American mids have good branding, GoldenGlue has the vault boy meme, Damonte has Tanner Time, and Pobelter is the notorious POB. Sadly winning is not part of that brand :(
He could just be a better fit for the team in terms of what he does like his shotcalling, personality ect. There are a few more things taken into account than how well some one played in the previous year when picking
According to Damonte, he wasn't asking for much money, and was willing to play for any LCS team for cheap. I don't think the money argument holds up. Damonte just got shafted by negative stereotypes of NA midlaners.
Greyson I hope you do well this year but no pressure. Just show everyone who you really are. Whether you shit your bed or godlike, play with no regret.
To be fair, NA mids have been historically destroyed internationally. But still, I have high hopes for Goldenglue. Also, I hate when people want to be underestimated. You should embrace pressure instead of avoid it, or else you will not be prepared if you get to play-offs finals or better.
Most NA mids that make it to international events aren't even Americans or Canadians. Jensen, Bjergsen, Nisqy, Ryu, and Huhi. Pobelter was the only NA mid with international experience from 2015-2018. Now we have Damonte as well.
These orgs didn't decide to have foreign midlaners because of 'stigma'. And when NA midlaners didn't get picked by team and orgs, it's not because they're from NA. It's because of their own individual merit. Being North American wasn't the reason that you did not get picked.
If they wanna show good NA mid talent, for ggs anyways, the least they cudda done was surround him with other talent lmao his lane (besides Hantzer) gonna drag him down
"we're probably the hungriest team out of all the rosters" man that is so cool to hear i feel like we dont get to see the fired up side of lcs that often
So refreshing to have a Travis interview in my feed
I'm really hoping he does good this year. His team can shit the bed but GG needs to do good to show that NA Midlaners can put work.
@heeey eeey team dignitas
@heeey eeey with aprooo and johnsuun
He always ends up being one of the worst midlaners so I wouldn't get your hopes up :[

They can put in work, sure, but work without talent is useless
Golden glue always has such smooth interviews
Lol after the reddit post, travis started putting in more energy in these interviews then his laid back approach
This wad probably done before tgat thread
@@iambee5876 this is at all stars so way after the thread

Really good interview, really conversational!
I want more interviews! Great job Travis!
Excellent interview! Way to go team Goldenglue
If mid lane was a nice guy contest NA would win every tournament

VaultBoy spam in the twitch chat is gonna be bliss

My prediction for why he joined GGS (before watching): “because GGS is the only team who wanted an NA mid”
nice interview, Travis!
Goldenglue. You are the best native NA mid in the game. It's your season now
im so happy goldenglue is back starting. poor damonte though
real reason he joined ggs , they are the only ones that wanted him
real reason is that he has golden in his name
@heeey eeey hes in eg I believe
@@TheOfficialVIDI jizuke is midlaner for EG.
@heeey eeey froggens joining dignitas
@heeey eeey ESPN reported that Aphromoo, Grig, and Froggen are going to DiG. So far the first two have been confirmed by DiG.
GG seems like a stand up guy. I hope the improvement from his time on C9 carries over to 2020.
Great interview! Incredible and responsive follow-up questions that kept me very intrigued! A masterclass in interviewing. Peasants take notes😎😎
Travis shutting Reddit down
Travis looking in better shape, glad for him!👏🏼👏🏼
Good interview Travis, a lot more energy.
nice follow-up questions
a lot of pressure on this man to prove NA mids are good
Only reason I can think of why they picked GG over Damomte is money that's the only reason that makes any sense

The funniest part of the Goldenglue to GGS story is @2:13 when Goldenglue sits down with Jack and says,"How do I make you some money?"
Goldenglue wanted to grow and Jack instantly saw the $$$ in selling a growing NA mid.
Jack out here selling mids.
Steve only buys gas ;)

we love to hear from G"GG"G, the living legend. Interview this man every single chance you get. Texas thanks you, Mr. Gilmer.

Says a huge amount the catastrophic lack of talent in NA that VaultBoy is regarded as literally the best American mid KEKW
I love this man
Sextuple G himself
GG GG on playing on GG

NA not havin POB in mid yikes
Gafford Gang
Best NA Mid
NA = No Americans. Starts with mid lane will soon extend to all roles.
Id take Pobelter over goldenglue anyday.

What a trash interview. Travis needs to be more conversational. I don't think I heard him say a single word that entire interview
Worst NA LCS mid lane and interviewer in same video Kappa
Mediocre player for a mediocre team.
Ya, lcs looking like academy in 2020
