The animes is mainly intended for guys cuz their main audience are guys and for a guy , a guy mc is much more relatable than a girl mc. Besides, people actually care when someone goes through hardships and becomes a worrier at the end and for that to happen here , he would have to get beaten to a pulp, you're most welcome if you wanna see a girl beaten to a pulp.

It's interesting how they managed to stay faithful to the Soul Land 2 story here, but they seemed to completely disregard properly handling the finale of Soul Land 1... What a betrayal... lol. I watched these first two episodes because I knew TS would appear at the beginning of this story based on novel, although it was triggering when they used clips from the disappointing finale as flashbacks to his legendary moments lol. Sigh. This is too soon, still can't get over SL 1 finale.
Oh I just wish that tang Sam the the rest would could be showing up more often I miss them so much😢
