Hi Hinny, It is best to fish the twin assist hooks on the top of the jig. Probably just turn the jig around. Well done on sticking out the windy conditions. The boat must have been drifting quick. 👋

Thanks Greg It was like being on a roller coaster at times 😆 the reel is canny, was around £40 and came pre- loaded with 20lb braid, it feels pretty solid so I’ll see how it lasts 👍🎣🐟
Yeh braid is not cheap. I just bought a 1000m spool instead of the 300m I would usually buy, and it cost far less per m, so that’s definitely the way to buy it 👍

Awesome Danielle my granddaughter loves slow jigging beat me each time , haven't fished 4 weeks due 2 the weather , cold winds rain plus been sick , do u use live prawns when u fish using a float ? . Happy catching from Australia Nick 🇦🇺

makes you think dont it when ure fishing with lures not getting anything then tht one type of lure changes everything a recon 90 percent the time there is loads of fish but its the lure thts not intresting enough i been testing out diffrent lures all tht as its been so quite here in north ayrshire
Yeh, the lure definitely makes or breaks the fishing. I guess the fish will eat certain things at different times and if the lure doesn’t match then it will be ignored. Those lures are canny good, bit on the pricey side, but they did find the fish 🤩🎣🐟

@@fishinghinny bargain! You can easily pay over 40🦑 for a 150m of 20 lbs braid - not me though, line that spendy’ is way above my pay (pension) grade😂
