I have heard you can post once a week one year and you get views and subs. So no pressure. The most important thing is how long people watch your videos.
Do you have other streams of income? Is producing your main thing? Just asking cause that Sept sales number is on low. Was that your total sales as a producer in Sept? Not trying to be negative in any way. I'm just starting to post beats for sale but wondering if it's a decent way to make extra income or not. I got hip to you from the Legion Beat Course on Soundcloud you did with Gabe. Def going to implement that. So thanks for sharing that insight!
The dashboard in this video just shows my pro page sales. The vast majority of my sales come from my blaze pro player that's plugged into my website. I do music full time.
Awesome video! I think one thing that would translate to more website visits and downloads from these shorts would be using 'Download for free' instead of 'Purchase now at'. My theory being if you are able to get those people to your page and download to your beat it should be also possible to later convert them to buyers through email marketing. As far as frequency of posting goes, I have stuck to every second day since this is what I find comfortable but generally posting from 3 to 5 times per week is optimal and makes almost no difference from posting every single day other than the reduced load on your mental lol. I am yet to try the shorts method of posting but if I were to start doing it, I would first and foremost try to optimize the process of creating content as much as possible just to avoid what you said. Maybe come up with a premade template for Premiere Pro since this is what I use for editing and then alternate between using videos and still images. Really curious about how still images would compare to the music videos you are using, new topic for a future video perhaps?
