Foden may be a better player than Saka but it took one game in the Euros for Saka to take Foden spot and Foden still doesn’t have that position back and he won’t play ahead of Saka at this Euros either. Neither will Cole for that matter.

A few seasons back we criticised his goalscoring ability and that has improved in leaps these last two seasons.. Even more crazy is to suggest that Palmer is better than Saka - Palmer is a good player, but that’s a mad take. Cole Palmer is a good attacker but he doesn't have the all round quality that Saka has. Being a winger, you need to defend as well and I haven't seen Palmer show any defensive prowess and Chelsea concede a lot of goals from the right hand side because he doesn't support the full back defensively

But man said Palmers current season is better than anything saka has done in his career. While also saying it’s easy for players to stand out in bad teams. As a City fan, on transfer talk: we'll lose Bernardo, we already got Savio (joining this summer, from Girona), Echeverri (joining in Jan 2025 from River Plate), and if we could get 1) Bruno Guimaraes, 2) Paqueta (if the betting charge is dropped), and 3) Pedro Porro... ideally in this order with Bruno being an upgrade on what Kalvin was supposed to be, a help for Rodri (yes, sell Kalvin back to Leeds); Paqueta as Bernardo's replacement; and Porro as the next Kile Walker (who started to show his age, as good as he still is). If not Porro, maybe get our former academy player (9 years with us) Frimpong .. but hard to think Alonso will let him go from Bundesliga champions Leverkusen ... do I ask for too much? 😂

Turkish was swinging closed eyes for Saka. Saka isn't aesthetically pleasing as other players. He was being strangled in the Euros Final because of his quality.
