Impressive for that small stretch of road for sure! I think that setup can easily push 100 if you give it some more room though. You can try decreasing your pinion size if you only have a small space, it may help get it to top speed faster.
Try flipping the motor direction wires and then flip it on the remote as well. Sometimes that can help with the NO Reverse issue. Sometimes not though, can be frustrating! Great video, Congrats on beating your P.B.!

I always overdo everything just for the sake of doing them. I have a beautiful CORVETTE body on its way for it. What do you think about the cap packs? To be honest despite asking others, I really don’t know exactly what they do...stop ripple? I guess it has to do with the flow of power. I am not looking for more speed, but will a cap pack improve overall performance? Thanks.
Oooph, I feel the buyers remorse through this comment. Nothing against Traxxas, I have a XMAXX, E-Revo 2.0, and Hoss VXL 3S and love them most of the time. However, between the Limitless and XO1, there is really no comparing them. The Limitless blows the XO1 off the track. The problem is RC tech has come a long way since the release of the XO1 and Traxxas is bad about never updating current models for years until they are replaced. The X01 was great when it was released I’m sure, however it is dangerous running 100mph (not enough weight to hold it to the ground). Limitless runs 100mph with no effort, and up to 200mph with the right setup.
@@Critical-Defense Thanks for the reply. While I still enjoy the XO1. I ended up removing virtually all the TRAXXAS COMPONENTS & installed CASTLE 1717, XLX2, FUTABA radio & receiver. I have done a couple builds since…a LIMITLESS GT with a BITTYDESIGN body & I am in the middle of a build using a FELONY roller/slider, CASTLE 1721, XLX2 & a TOYOTA GT body. Happy HOLIDAYS.

Phil , I think you need a longer track 😂. That thing is a beast scary fast and one mistake it could be in a million pieces. It would be cool to see just how fast you can get it to go .Great video.
I got a good idea, how about you make a tow hook and put it on the back of your wpl b36 like take two small winches and make a tow boom and hook it up to the bed!
Funny I just got 82mph for the first time with my limitless in 100m using the 1650kv motor! Calculator says I should hit 114?(Some day) lol But space (safe space)is the biggest issue I've found!
This car always spins out one way super easy. I had a mini z rwd that had the identical problem of skidding out very easy one way, then turn the other way and it pushes the front wheels right off the track. That is not normal unless you were racing oval tracks in reverse all the time, then maybe It could be justified. I guess they just gave up on the handling part and went for speed running.
Harry, the best way to grow is to get people to support you that are within your niche.... you'd be much better getting someone who was in to MTBs to shout you out. Keep making content mate and the subs/views will come 👍

Calculators don’t take in to account aero/drag etc... good speed for the amount of room you have

Slow and trash skid plates don't work unless ur driving over metal also did not even do 100mph
