Okay, I noticed alot of things here. First, based on the clothing, the phones, the camera, etc, it takes place in the 90's or early two thousands. I love how Lauren is wearing a gurl next door outfit and even has chipped neon green nail polish. It really fits the old school vibes and contributed to the vibe of like an old-school, puppy love, nostalgic, type thing. I cannot think of the words to express it. I love that she used her actual parents in the film! So cool! Loved the camera work and the " flash back to highschool/college age crush" thing she has going. I really like the aesthetic but idl how to describe it. I've already watched the video a few times and I love that it tells a story. Wonderful song, and wonderful video to go along with it.
Whosoever idea is was to slow down the lens and zoom, but not zoom so much during the side view mirror scenes (around minute 2:35) is a person well hired! Those seconds alone made the whole video for me. Lauren you're awesome, and this was a great song. Thank you making and singing in it💯
