Yes.. she has age related macular degeneration. Now at 89 she can only see light and dark. She has acted for years with low vision. She can still give forth pages and pages of Shakespeare at the drop of a hat. Memory of an elephant other actors say.

I hated Craig Ferguson, because he always makes the interview about himself. He's always embarrassing his guests, bombarding them with inane questions, and making raunchy jokes to turn the attention on himself. Just shut up and let the guest talk, for crissakes! Especially Judi Dench, who has some great things to say and is very interesting to hear if you actually listen to her.
God I miss Craig Ferguson. And Dame Judi is one of the best people in the acting world.
