I had a 🧠 💨 at 7:59, it's obviously a 🌴
the photos in this video are some of my favourites from you so far! always learning a lot from your content, thanks!
Thanks! Glad you like it!
I've found recently people are very sensitive about being caught in a photograph. I was photographing an event (with my SL1) across the road and a family was crossing in front of my line of sight. When he saw I had a camera he lost it and insisted on looking at all the images to make sure I had not photographed his children or his wife. So, I am now very hesitant to take random street shots due to this happening a couple of times in the last couple of months. I have had issues with street people and transients threatening me over possibly being in photographs. So, I now only take shots at arranged events where people are expecting to be photographed and where there are signs posted indicating they can be expected to be photographed by attendees at events. I have also had security at events ask to examine the images on my camera to ensure I am not taking images of people, children or products being featured at the events. Some of them have "Accidentally" removed multiple unrelated images. So, street photography is now becoming increasingly difficult.
Do you mind me asking which country or city this is in specifically? I can only speak for the UK and parts of Europe where I practice photography

Photography is not a crime. Know your rights.
In germany it is also illegal to post pictures that include faces in a group less than 15 people, without consent
In the US if you're in public you have basically signed a waiver voiding your privacy. I would just told the guy to F* off. It is legal here to photograph anything or anyone on public roads and buildings.
Great tip on keeping your eye oit for complimentary colours. Love that!
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Dude, you are a super talented photographer 👏🏻
Thank you so much!
Great video and content George!
Thank you! 🙏
Great video as always bro 🎉🎉🎉
Cheers man!
Very nice video, thank you.
Thank you! 🙏
9:02 jumped out at me from this selection
Lately I've been enjoying the L.Monochrome and dynamic monochrome (p. 82 in the DMC-G85 Advanced Manual) a lot, pretty much SOOC with the PL 15 1.7 or Oly 45 1.8.
Lots of samples. Great!
Hope you like them!
Third! And great advice on some fundamentals here!
Eyyy!
Which lens would you say is more useful for street photography? Panasonic 20mm 1.7 or Olympus 17mm 1.8? I use Pana 20mm, but sometimes it might be a bit narrow. Also, a few times I got banding on my M10 ii.
The Panasonic Leica 15mm f1.7 is a beautiful lens. 30mm FF equiv FOV, and it has beautiful 3D rendering that Leica lenses are known for. Fantastic colour, tonality, and micro contrast. I was sold on it by this review from fellow youtuber @robinwong robinwong.blogspot.com/2017/02/a-brief-encounter-with-panasonic-leica.html
17 indeed, pana 20 a bit sluggish and yes in dark area and high iso it appears sensor banding..
WHAT I NEED
YOU NEED THIS?
@@GeorgeHolden I NEED WHAT
0:13 what is this camera?
Would be nice if you could include camera, lens, other info from the pictures when you display them. Maybe if its film list stock and lens, etc.
Good point! Although the specific gear doesn't make a difference to any photo
@@GeorgeHolden actually it is...)) obviously most important is photographer, not gear BUT color science, sensor, bokeh, sharpness, dynamic dont know) i think youre not honest here
@@GeorgeHolden I was thinking more for educational purposes. Gear is pricey and its interesting to see how people use it. At the end of the day a great picture speaks for itself.
@@Promikesfor reference most of this video is Lumix GX80 and Lumix 20mm at F7.1
@@dothewubwubnoted! I'll include more info in future, for reference most of this video is Lumix GX80 and Lumix 20mm at F7.1
how do you get those dreamy colors?
I have a collection of Lightroom Presets, you can find them via my membership!
umm i only come here for camera recommendations... what vintage ccd camera do i need instead of a full frame sony???
Whatever camera you can afford is the right one for you, don't sweat the details!
😂😂 underrated.coment! is funny because in some cases i'm pretty sure they bought like 236 units at 10$ and then raise them to 180$ like hell 😂😂 i'm not saying that all the old cameras are rubbish but the majority are roughtly a 4 with nothing special at all
What's your budget?
- (Buys full frame anyway.)
- "Noooooooo!!!!"
Literally 😅
I have always disliked photos of strangers. I dislike taking photos of people I don’t know!
A few of the great street photographers have done it well using people artfully in their shots.
Tourists walking and milling about are completely uninteresting to me and I avoid them. So I certainly don’t photos of them.
I’ve never seen the appeal either.

Oh yeah I meant to add a pinned comment 😅 obviously a tree, I misspoke!
GREAT VIDEO BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT HAS A VERY MISLEADING AND CLICK-BAITY TITLE ...
The original title had no clicks, but at least the video is great!
@@GeorgeHolden oh I see. Makes sense that you stuck with this title then. Yeah maybe the title worked wonders in terms of pushing reach. It landed on my explore page! But I also had seen other videos you made before. Did you upload the video anew with a different title or did you change the title after uploading?
