Navarre local here. Dewey Destin’s and windjammers are overpriced for subpar service and food. I would recommend Dave’s oyster bar and where ya at seafood. Way better food for the price.
I am thinking of going in January. I want to check out all these sites & when it comes to swimming on the beach, I'll probably dip my toes a good 1 foot in the water. Too chilly I'm guessing

Here you overlook the Gulf of Mexico with gulf views. Largest gulf in the world.
You might have mentioned Seville Quarter. Maybe it's a bit out of date but it was huge when I was there in the 70s. And I see it's still there.
