    Got into tree netting research recently and came across your channel. Love your videos and all the science explanations behind all the important information. Really appreciate your time and effort to show your expertise in this art. Wife and I are getting a new outdoor swing set and I want to incorporate some tree netting combined with the swing set on the top deck. What would you recommend for a tree net project for a 5+ year old to use? I'm thinking of making It a closed net system or at the very least a tall wall on all sides to prevent accidental falling. Is there anything I should be aware of or take in consideration for this project? Appreciate you, and keep up the great work!

      Sounds like you’ve got it! 🙌🏼 I’d focus on making the platform holes extra small since a 5 year old has much smaller feet than an adult

    I really enjoy your content and it's super informative and helpful! With that being said, I wish you would've ended this video with the finished product, you said it was too loose so you needed to put a few more connections in it, but how?? I'm afraid of getting this far to get the pattern and then messing it all up to tighten up all the holes

    Hey Alonso, super helpful video.. and got a good confidence in building one rather buying it...
    I made a metal rectangle structure at height of 7 feet with dimansion of 7x5.5 feet
    I am confused while choosing color and amount of paracord needed..
    For color I remember in one of the video you mentioned not to use bright color in sun... but wanted to leverage soke vibrant color combo.. and needed guidance in the same
    This will be my first ever trial for the same

    • @treenetweaves
      @treenetweaves  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you’re going to use a bright color just make sure it’s not “neon” I find that those weaken much faster in the sun that basic colors

    what knot do you use for the skeleton in the end?
    and what knot do you use (time 5.40 ) to set two rope together ?

    • @treenetweaves
      @treenetweaves  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For the skeleton you can use any terminating knot like a clove hitch, constrictor hitch, etc…
      To join two ropes together there are also many options. I typically use a double fisherman’s but lots of things will work 😊

    What would be the pricing on just the Paracord for a net that size? I have plenty of arborist grade support lines I could use, so just the cool colorful stuff is imperative.

    Hey Alonso, thanks for sharing the spacenet making in such great details.
    I am planning to build one for my backyard trees. They form a triangle of about 45’/50’/15’ and putting a spacenet sounds like a great idea. I also have shrinking net in mind, but the cost for that is pretty high.
    So I have 2 questions:
    1. Is it possible to build the spacenet while standing on ground and then move it up? I want it to be about 12-15ft above ground, so it’ll be great fun to hang out on.
    2. Can I use the toe steel chain for the outermost boundary instead of 1/2” or 3/4” rope? I was thinking that the chain links will provide easy measured holes to tie the skeleton lines?
    What are your thoughts? Do you see any issues with any idea?
    Thanks in advance. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    • @treenetweaves
      @treenetweaves  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey hey!
      1) Ideally, the net can be moved anywhere 😊 So this shouldn’t be an issue to you.
      2) I have no idea to be honest.. I’ve never experimented with chains for a perimeter…
