A lot of motorcycles are still using the bus lane the other day on a weekday of course bec there are no enforcers. It’s sad that we only follow rules when there’s an authority present.
Thank you GA for showing us the hard work of the SAICT. I hope you also start vlogging the violators around Manila and Pasay City to see how corrupt the traffic enforcers are in this areas.
Still many violators are willing to pay the fine of 5,000 and confiscation of they're license rather than stuck on traffic. Any more harsh ideas to end this wrong practice?, seems they still don't respect the rules of law.
@JamesBourne001 kahit gano kalaki pa penalty niyan at kahit anung suspension o revoke wala pa din effect kase napakadali mag fixer at talahib lisensya.
Why are some of the motorcycle bus lane violators not apprehended? You said the enforcers did not see them from that distance. But you also said in your previous videos that there is a spotter far back there that calls out on the radio for them to be apprehended ?
Can there be a study of the points or locations where drivers enter/exit the bus lane? This will some how help minimize the temptation of the drivers to enter the bus lane and slow them down in exiting the bus lane. I notice they exit the bus lane in an almost the same spot or location.

I just dont understand how you can confiscate people's driving licences, write them a ticket and able to still drive to your destination? 🤔 What happens when he/her gets into an accident down the line and can't produce their licence? You won't see that happening over here in the UK.
Enforcement officers need to be given better powers to apprehend & to deal with abusive drivers & riders. There is no way that little tow truck would be able to tow that much larger truck with a tracked excavator on it ! Certainly not safely.
@@johnarat9618I saw one of the enforcers look inside, through the drivers window. My assumption is that he saw a patient because he immediately waved them forward after looking in there.
@@GadgetAddict Are ambulances allowed to be in the bus lane, when driving to a patient, due to an emergency call? Because the acting MMDA Chairman said ambulances without patients will be ticketed. However, this has led to outrage, with some netizens saying that ambulances driving to patients, or returning back to base should also be allowed in the bus lane.
@@johnarat9618ambulances that have a genuine patient are being allowed to immediately continue with their journey in the busway. Previously, members of the public had questioned why there was an unusually high number of “ambulances” and “patient transport vehicles” inside the EDSA busway during the morning and evening rush hours. This often caused buses to skip stops, to make way for these vehicles, forcing commuters to disembark at the wrong locations. There were also worries about the speed at which some emergency vehicles passed through while commuters were loading and unloading. Once enforcers started flagging those vehicles down for verification, they found that some of them were being used for personal errands, transporting or escorting VIPS, carrying commuters or commercial goods, and even for outings - far from their intended medical purpose. They also discovered that many vehicles which are marked as “ambulances” and are using emergency lights and sirens, are not actually registered as ambulances. Since the verification process began, there has been a noticeable drop in the number of ambulances and patient transport vehicles using the exclusive bus lane. Enforcers are mindful to avoid delaying any legitimate emergency responses.
It will be nice also GA if you could show here the statistics by LTO like; How many traffic violators there have been from January to October or since the time the new penalty was implemented? Include the type of violators: Four Wheels, Trucks, Ambulance, Motorcycles etc. How many have had the highest penalty? LTO must have this.
pwede sa comedy bar un ngsabi na "enforcer and ng ko-cause ng traffic". traffic = vehicles moving on road(volume); you're driving your vehicle = you're the one causing traffic🤣
Penalties don't mean nothing for these violators. And their everyday reasons are all one and the same - "I am in a hurry, I will be late". And what about these people "able to apply and get another" license and therefore do not even care about their previous violations and tickets? Come up with a tougher implementation. And FORGET ABOUT THE COMPLAINED RISK, install those concrete barriers.

Does this group only enforce bus lane violations? I was on EDSA 2 days ago and its lawless out there, turn signals aren't used, people make turns from the incorrect lanes and turn into the incorrect lanes on a constant basis. I saw cars stopped in clearly indicated no stopping zones almost everywhere. I can't help but think that we need enforcement of more than just bus lanes.
This team is specifically assigned for busway enforcement. But you're right, EDSA is pretty bad now. There used to be hundreds of fixed post enforcers assigned to EDSA, now there are times that you can travel kilometers without even seeing one. I did see a news article recently about mmda shuffling around enforcers to deal with different problem areas, Maybe they just don't have enough manpower. They've been saying for a long time that they want to hire more enforcers, but it's dependent on what budget they can get approved.
@@GadgetAddict Maybe its a different tactic that is needed. Elsewhere officers are mobile, they turn on their flashing lights and you pull over. If you do not your facing significant jail time with your car being impounded costing you thousands of dollars. When they pull you over they issue you a ticket, if you do not hand over your license you are facing serious jail time and again your car is impounded at your expense. You never know when you are going to be spotted by a police officer because they are travelling up and down the same roads but it also means a single officer can patrol a very large area. Less enforcers are needed and people can't play nice in one or two areas where there is enforcement. The only time I see officers with flashing lights is when they are escorting VIP's. They obviously have the equipment and they can obviously travel they are being used for the wrong purpose. Evading police is a serious crime, failing to present documentation is a serious crime being lax on serious crime has created a lawless situation. Yesterday I saw a motorcycle which hadn't been imported into The Philippines in over a decade and it still had temporary plates, there is no chance this vehicle was up to date on registration, no chance in had TPL but as long as they stay out of the bus lane they will never be stopped worse yet if they hit a car like what happened to me in September they will drive away leaving it entirely to the victim to sort out the damages. They obviously have the manpower they are making a choice to not enforce laws and to use tactics that are outdated and ineffective.
