So you think its ok that John and T2 were able to reach the heart of Skynet on a motorcycle and destroy it with one bomb and in the meantime defeat the most advanced Terminator of all time - T-1000000? Ok, whatever float your boat.
Well it's either that or watch Terminator Salvation...whatever floats your boat. :P
Compared to this Salvation is an Oscar masterpiece :)

Clements-San while this show was the absolute best and I must’ve seen it a million times, it broke so many things established from previous films and was so over the top, there is no way this can be considered cannon in the slightest. Lol

This was the first thing we saw on a family holiday to florida in 2007. Nothing else came close tbh, in any of the theme parks or tourist spots.

This ride blew me away when I first saw it. The thing that made Universal unique was that it was the edgier Disney park. Where it took more mature blockbuster films and made it into rides. These movies, whether it was Jurassic Park, E.T., Men in Black, Ghostbusters, Terminator, Jaws, Back to the Future, King Kong or The Mummy; were made real to me. Then, when I was old enough to see some of the films like Terminator, I had full appreciation of the movie because I got to be part of it at Universal Orlando. I am really saddened that Universal got rid of some of their rides. I'm not against Harry Potter but come on, without these films there would be no Harry Potter. The old Universal was the best because it made you part of the story in a realistic way.

attraction only exists in Japan now.

I remember being sooo fucking amazed watching this as a kid after i had seen all the movies. It's a shame they took it down along with the back to the future ride.

I`m glad that this is still open in universal studios Floridia, i just hope i get to go to universal studios one day so i can experience this for myself.

Its one of the best theme park experiences I've ever had. A fond memory from my childhood.

Last time I saw this was January 2015, a day or so after New Years day. Seeing this again was beyond awesome, and hearing everyone applaud at the end was also fantastic. No matter how old this attraction is, it will never get old and will always be awesome.

They ARE real but not the original actors. They are different ones bc if they used the original actors they would very busy and not be able to make any other movies.

They need to take the footage from this and turn it in to a short film. Clean it up, update the VFX, film a short sequence for the Cyberdyne building at the start, and you would technically have the real Terminator 3.

I would've loved to have seen the t-1,000,000 in salvation, or really any other movie. There are a lot of interesting terminator models (especially from the comics) that aren't seen on the big screen

I went to see this when I was a kid I loved it.
This should have been the terminator 3 that came out in 1997.
Those terminator drones are cool
still one of the best attraction n all thanks to universal cast n James Cameron who directed the attraction
So I went to the terminator gift shop July 11th, to see if they still had T2 3-D merch in the store after it closed last year. Turns out, there was a small amount! it's all on sale. My father was with me, and he asked a cast member (not sure what they're called at universal) at the register if they knew what would be replacing it. This cast member had worked there for around 7-ish years, and the info they were given was that a new action-packed show would be arriving there next year, but they weren't allowed to tell us what it was based on b/c cast members have the tendency to spoil secrets sometimes and they couldn't know themselves aha

Exactly as I remember it from late 90's/early 2000's. Pleased they still have it. Now if they just rebuild King Kong and Jaws I might just fork out the fortune to get their again!

It must suck to perform like this for an empty theater. :-( I remember when I saw this, the place was PACKED. I can't wait to see T2 re-released in 3D
They'll be doing this multiple times a day so the theatre capacity will have peaks and lulls just like any other matinee or evening performance.
If they were still doing this, I would suggest that during the middle segment that's just a movie, the Arnold lookalike swap out his leather jacket for one with bullet holes in the back.

+keninorlando9 As much as the film/show is good, it doesn't really attract that many people to the ride. It's more of a "Eh, I've seen it once, know how it goes etc" type of deal. It's the same with the Shrek 3D movie too, once you've seen it, it's pretty boring.
