The timing of this video is honestly hilarious to me, cause uhhhh…I already ordered this yesterday. It arrived today (thanks Best Buy lol). Still, appreciate this! I’m upgrading from the older HD60S myself, so it’s interesting to see this in action!
Cool and informative, lol the ashy Larry part killed me though. Thanks for the info I think I'll get the hd60s+ for now until the x comes out with an upgrade
Lmao glad you enjoyed. I think the HD60 X doesn't offer quite enough new features for an owner of the HD60 S+, so I definitely think you're making a good decision
@@StreamerSchool i felt the same because I want to get into streaming so I'm doing all my research on different tools I'll need to start and glad you had this video to help with my decision. The X is good but it could be better because I think the VRR is the only real difference between it and the s+.
What capture card do I need? I only want to record PS5 gameplay with OBS and upload it to TH-cam at 1440p60fps. I play on a 1440p120Hz monitor - would the HD60 S+ be sufficient?
honestly, i am thinking of getting this, i just got a PS5 and since i am a PC gamer i dont really have a TV to play it, so i am using one of my monitors, i just want to use my pc in the same place so that is the reason i am getting it, i dont stream or do youtube, guess that will do the job
One thing I like about this video that differs from others is that you actually showed us how game would that is Worth A like in it self. Keep up the good content bro❤
Haven't streamed in a while due to work and decided for the summer I would try to get back on schedule. Turns out the HD60 S isn't compatible with my Mac mini (it's saying because it's a silicon card?) Might be taking your advice and going ahead with the X, since the price difference is only around $20-50. Have you heard anything about prior models not working with the new Mac processors? Thanks for the help. Great first video for me and you gained a new sub!
Thanks for being a new sub! Not sure about the models/Mac compatibility but I did run across this video looking it up. Maybe it'll be of some use to you? th-cam.com/video/-ThZ3wNAe-w/w-d-xo.html
i have the hd60 s+ i was having the same issues, i got a new monitor that has 1440p 120hz. i had to go through exactly what you went through, playing around with the settings on xbox. i finally got 1440p and 120hz to work on my series x. i was happy but then my game capture when to shit and now im stuck with a black screen -.- i was wondering if you could let me know what you did to not have this black screen for game capture. il would really help me out
I haven't had that issue. I could only recommend the generic tech support advice restarting obs, restarting computer, restarting xbox, reconnecting cables, reinstalling 4k capture utility, etc. Good luck
@@StreamerSchool update the elgato hd60s+ caps off at 60hz with 1440p. i tried doing 1440p with 60hz and it worked at last. after all the trial and error. later on i found out i would need to upgrade to the new elgato hd60x in order to get the 120hz on my monitor while capturing. sucks right. i think ill wait till they produce another model as its not worth spending hundreds of dollars again when i have a capture card.

Nice video. How did you get you game pad on screen? I have done so stream PC games but didn't know it was possible streaming console. Thanks ✌✌

This is modded Sifu. PC's the way to play!

Thanks bro!
I'm going to be streaming switch games mainly, but couldn't find anything on compatibility! any advice? thank you so much!
what desk do you have?
Do you think it’s worth the upgrade if I have the regular 60S?
Would this work well with a m1 MacBook Air 2020?
kinda off topic question but in the fight game scene you showed what controller overlay are you using ?
Hola! I have a MSI GF63 Thin 10SC con GTX 1650 MaxQDesign Core i5 RAM 16GB (Laptop) and I want to capture with my PS5, which one do you recommend?

I take it the X is compatible with a i5 quad core Imac? is it UVC (plug n play) like the S+?
Correct
I have a question… I just found a used elgato hd60s + for $65. Should I get it?
Not a bad price.
thats a no brainer, you dont even need the x if you have the s+
What game are you playing at 2:40 ?
Devil May Cry 5 for the Series X

So no way to record 4K gameplay for TH-cam with either card? Why do they call it 4K capture utility then lol
It wasn't operating as designed despite reinstalling. For me, at least 🤷🏿♂️. It's supposed to be able to, depending on the device.
