Actors should be able to learn languages relatively easy considering they remember lines fir a living. Kudos to his hard work though. His pronounciation is pretty good too
It's one thing to memorize lines but it's another thing to learn grammar, syntax and social context of how certain vocab should be used. That's why sometimes celebrities prefer to speak in their mother tongue on a televised interview even if they are able to converse in other languages well enough to order food or ask for directions.
Just imagine Tadashi Hamada speaking Korean.. (even though big hero 6 is set partly as Japanese). That would make him kind of a million times more dreamy.
