I think you guys (except Rich) are getting too hung up on his age. First and foremost I loved his film. IMO he had great patience, vision and explosivness. He's hard to bring down and he has great hands. He looks every bit the part of a successful NFL RB. Then looking into his story a bit, i see he one of 14 kids, in and out of foster care in San Francisco his whole childhood. His father went to jail when he was young, but his father was also a RB and went to the same high school as OJ Simpson. While there he broke OJ's single season rushing record. You know not everybody has someone to guide them through the college football process. So if he's a year or two late getting there, it's understandable. I think this kid is going to be great.
I think you make some good points. As a Bills fan the only thing that gives me pause is Brandon Beane has proven to draft subpar athletes at running back, time and time again. I drafted Davis in the 4th in my league so hopefully you’re right.
