Those Dollar Tree self watering planters are perfect for SoCal weather. My succulents thrive in those and don't have to worry about them being without water.
@@elleobi They tend to be more expensive though compared to other thrift stores in other states. I've watched others thrifting from other states, and they are much cheaper. Bay area is really expensive.

The problem is that the taller planters are expensive, and plastic Dollar Tree $5 pots just do not compare.
You are right. That is so true. That's why I stay away from bigger plants because I know how expensive pots can be the bigger/taller they are.
